Luxurious self-catering cottages in and around Criccieth, a seaside town in the north west of Wales, on the southern side of the Llyn peninsula. Situated on the coast, the town is surrounded by Snowdonia National Park and is close to a variety of Blue Flag beaches, awarded for their cleanliness, facilities and scenic beauty. Criccieth Castle is well worth a visit, dominating the town standing high on its rocky perch, and you can take a ride on the world famous Ffestiniog Railway. There is a lovely Heritage walk around Criccieth which reveals the area's rich history and culture (the guide maps can be purchased from the Tourist Information Centre). The town is noted for its fairs, held in May and June each year, where visitors come to see the market which spreads through the streets of the town.
