Very clean and beautifully presented, the location and setting was just as described and attractions and beach within easy walking distance.
The cottage was interesting with lots of original features. The gardens were lovely and the setting peaceful. However, there were lots of areas which required improvement - the hot water system and central heating were temperamental to say the least (tepid water rather than hot for the last 3 days and couldnt get the central heating to work). The only window we were able to open was in the single bedroom therefore the 2 other bedrooms were stuffy and hot. No system for drying towels so damp soggy towels for most of the week. 2 toilet rolls supplied for 7 days - Really!? The main bedroom was ok but the other 2 need some TLC as theyre very basic and the mattresses very uncomfortable. The shower over the bath was little more than a dribble. The whole cottage had a rather shabby feel. Could do with some money spent on it.
Superb cottage in a really convenient location. Just a five minute walk to the town and beach. The owners provided a welcome pack, which was all we needed and more. A comfortable and very clean environment to spend a memorable week in a beautiful part of Wales.I would have no hesitation in recommending this for six persons to have a wonderful holiday.
Fabulous cottage - peaceful location - everything you could need - spacious rooms - a warm welcome with tea/milk/cake leftCan't wait to go back!

If you've ever visited a holiday cottage before, you most likely have seen a guestbook in the property for guests to leave a review for others when they arrive. Each of the following comments was lovingly left by people just like you in the guestbook left at Bwthyn yr Ardd.
Our second visit to this cottage. Another enjoyable week in a beautiful town. Cottage is brilliantly equipped and the internet was working. Lexi enjoyed the garden and venturing into the sea for the first time! 10/10 would recommend.
Huge thanks to the owners and Quality Cottages for being so kind and helpful. A superb cottage in a lovely location- our week was brilliant ? must come again.
This has to be one of the best holiday homes we have stayed in. Despite some mixed weather we have been down to Blackrock Sands. The Rabbit Farm, Ffestiniog Railway, Portmeirion, and we've had plenty of walks with Chloe and Amber the dogs. They have had a fantastic time. We have been very comfortable in the cottage. Everything was great, and we felt the owners have achieved a very high standard. Hope we can visit again.
Wonderful retreat so close to nature, yet close to the beach and town ? we had a lovely relaxing holiday. Thanks!
Had a nice 6 days here and walked and cycled despite unsettled weather. Lovely cottage, lit the stove in the evenings (even though it's July!) Dylan's restaurant at the far end of the main beach recommended ? nice for cocktails overlooking the sea.
