The apartment was extremely well maintained. It was very well equipped without being fussy and very clean. So nice to stay in a self catering apartment that has high quality kitchen equipment and pots and pans. (Some places we have stayed seem to be kitted out from a car boot or grannies cast offs) Everything you could need. Even had good cook books and decent magazines to browse. Thank you. Perfect location for exploring the Llyn Peninsular and Snowdonia.

Ty Criccieth was lovely, a modern apartment in an old converted church. The equipment in the kitchenette was new and high quality. The accommodation is also located very conveniently for all the amenities in Criccieth, which is a lovely and very slightly old fashioned British seaside resort. There were a couple of seasons why we couldnt give Ty Criccieth 5*. Firstly, the tv reception was poor, with the picture regularly breaking up. More importantly, we all know that in Britain, and in North Wales, by the sea it can be cold at any time of the year. When we arrived in early June, it was around 11-12C. We left it 24 hours or so for the heating to kick in, but it was still cold, so we phoned the owner. Curiously the heating is controlled remotely and cant be overridden locally. He was very helpful and changed the settings. To be honest, it didnt make a huge amount of difference, but you dont spend your time indoors when on holiday, the weather improved a little and we coped. We would certainly return to Ty Criccieth, but might try a different apartment next time. All things considered though, a very nice stay.

Thank you for a wonderful week's stay at Ty Criccieth. We've had a relaxing time, despite the efforts of Storm Gareth! Beautiful walks and great eats out..... what more could you ask for. Thanks for all the great tips and advice on things to do and places to go. Just relaxing in the apartment has been a treat in itself. Look forward to visiting again in the future.

Thank you for making your lovely apartment available for us. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in north Wales and were especially appreciative of the warmth and kindness of the local people. Rain or shine, we had both, we managed to pack in a lot of walks, historic visits, excellent meals and scenic wonders. The drive up the valley from Llanberis will stay in our memories for years to come. Warm wishes to Keely and Dom and to your future guests. I hope your stay i Criccieth will be as delightful as ours.

Step out from the apartment onto the High Street where there is a wealth of independent shops - an excellent butchers and bakers just across the road plus a superb fishmongers and vegetable shop. For good restaurants try Dylan's on the beach a stunning art deco building designed by local architect and creator of Portmeirion, Clough William Ellis. Recommended by the owners of this property are Poachers Restaurant and No.46 Tea Rooms. The famous Cadwalladers ice cream and fish and chip shop close to the castle should not be overlooked!
