Good value apartment and well appointed.

Margaret Kennerley - 20th July 2018

Well appointed apartment in excellent location on Criccieth High Street. We knew it had no private outside space but some outdoor seating in the communal grounds would have been an advantage. However sea front only a couple of minutes walk.

Reply from: Jill

From the Owner: We are currently looking in to getting permission from the leaseholders to provide seating in the shared outside space. Fortunately we are only 2 minutes from the beach which has lots of seating with beautiful views across the bay towards Harlech.

A trusted customer - 13th July 2018

Only 2 mins walk to the beach. Good beach with good facilities. The high street has a good selection of shops. The local chip shop was the highlight of our eating as we could have our meals on the beach. The only slight disappointment was the lack of outside space, but as we knew this before we went and with the beach being so close it was not a problem. We would stay here again in the future

Attractive décor and facilities. It is a pity the bedroom is on the south side and the sitting room on the north. We also would have liked access to an outdoor sitting area.

From the owner:- We would love to have the living room south facing, but the view across the bay from the bedroom window is beautiful and we wouldn’t change it for the world. Lovely convenient apartment in a very good position for access to the town. Short walk to the seafront shops and lovely sea view coffee shop. Did very little driving the week we were there, had a very relaxing week. The owner was very helpful.

Good location and a lovely flat. Although the plumbing could be a lot quieter.

A trusted customer - 12th July 2017

A lovely, warm, relaxing break in beautiful surroundings. Even the weather was kind to us. The accommodation was first class and perfectly situated for us to take advantage of the scenery and trips around the area. We hope to return.

We have had a wonderful and relaxing week in a beautifully though out and comfortable flat. Everything that we could need has been thought of and provided. Whilst we have spent over 50 years visiting Snowdonia, this is the first stay in Criccieth itself. We hope sincerely to return. The Lion for sunday lunch, a visit to Mei’s Fusion, Castle Fish and Chips and Poachers have all been successful, and have made each day enjoyable. A visit to St. Cybi’s Well in Llangybi was most interesting. Grateful thanks for the wine, a kind and generous gesture.

A lovely apartment both to inhabit, and from which to explore the beautiful area on foot, by rail, bus and ferry at Barmouth. We used the car only twice! Thank you.

Thank you for a wonderful week's stay at Ty Criccieth. We've had a relaxing time, despite the efforts of Storm Gareth! Beautiful walks and great eats out..... what more could you ask for. Thanks for all the great tips and advice on things to do and places to go. Just relaxing in the apartment has been a treat in itself. Look forward to visiting again in the future.

Thank you so much for making our stay in North Wales so memorable, your home from home is absolutely beautiful. The weather was delightful, and the food exquisite, especially the Welsh Cakes! We must commend you on your choice of wine.

Excellent base for a 5 day break. Love the apartment and it's facilities. Explored all of the LLeyn Peninsula, recommend butchers and bakers in Criccieth. Allports fish and chips in Porthmadog is wonderful and then a 3 minute drive to North-y-Gest to eat them. Heaven on earth!

Lots of bird life. Nice drive to Caernarfon, walk around the castle and Victoria Dock and recommend a visit to Beaumaris on Anglesey, a lovely town with castle, pier, waterside walk and ice cream from Red Boat in the main street, delicious! and finally, Dylan's - yes! Superb food, lovely ambience, friendly, informal, but excellent service. Go!

Thank you Keeley and Dom for providing us with a stylish and comfortable apartment. We've had a lovely, relaxing winter getaway. The weather has been great, we even spent the day on the beach and had a paddle! The food and atmosphere was great at the Castle Inn and Mei's provided a tasty take-away. Looking forward to coming back.

We have had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment. High praise indeed and you have made it so lovely and extremely well equipped. A great location for taking in the coastal walks. Dylan's, Poachers and Castle Fish and Chips were all excellent. The wine was much appreciated after a long journey. Did the Welsh Highland Railway to Caenarfon, well worth the day out. Hope to return some time and will definitely recommend this fantastic apartment to friends. Many thanks.

For good restaurants try Dylan's on the beach a stunning art deco building designed by local architect and creator of Portmeirion, Clough William Ellis.
