Nefyn & Porthdinllaen

  • Nefyn's sandy beach is great for sunbathing and dogs are welcome all year round - do take a stroll along the cliff top Coastal Path to enjoy the stunning views and the variety of bird life
  • Dip down to the smugglers cove of Porthdinllaen for a pint of Guinness and a plate of mussels at the famous award winning Ty Coch pub. Dogs are welcome all year round on Porthdinllaen beach but in restricted areas between May & Sept.
  • Shop locally in the excellent SPAR in the village and enjoy a meal at The Ship - a famous gastro pub at Edern.

Nefyn Golf Course near North Wales holiday cottage

  • Nefyn Golf Course is only a mile away - the most photographed course in Wales - enjoy a game of golf here and you will see why!

Cwrw Llyn (Local Micro Brewery) Parc Eithin, Nefyn

  • Enjoy a fascinating brewery tour, taste delicious ales and learn how this micro brewery has developed steadily since its start 2011. A variety of ales and exclusive Welsh 'Peint Glasses' are available to buy in the brewery shop. The brewery shop and tap room are open (free entry) and guided tours are available (please book) 12-5 Mon- Sat.

Llyn Peninsula beaches

  • Aberdaron, Abersoch and Llanbedrog are just three of the many lovely beaches, coves and harbours to explore around the rugged coast line. There are more than enough to visit a different one each day.

Plas yn Rhiw, National Trust

  • Visit Plas yn Rhiw Manor and Gardens (NT) for a nostalgic trip to experience a genteel life long gone from the Peninsula. Take refreshments in the cafe and stroll in the magnificent gardens with stunning coastal views.

Caernarfon World Heritage Site

  • On wet days children will love to let off steam at the indoor Fun Centre in Caernarfon, or explore the mighty Castle, Edward I's masterpiece, which holds events throughout the season.

Nefyn Beach

  • This glorious sandy beach, great for sunbathing - is only a 10 minute walk away from Cae Berllan cottage. Dogs are welcome all year round.

The Cliffs Inn, Morfa Nefyn

  • Located on the headland overlooking Nefyn beach. Enjoy good pub food, fresh fish, cocktails and local ales in the stylish contemporary bar or outside on the terrace. Live music evenings and quiz nights are hosted regularly.
