Beautiful cottage with clever layout that took advantage of the wonderful views. We loved the personal touches: wine, milk, already laid BBQ.Cosy & welcoming cottage that was immaculately clean.

The access road was a disgrace and dangerous for cars. No cutting of the access road verge meant driving through long grass and branches which could scratch cars paintwork. Property was fine but spoilt by access road issues. The property brief understates the dire state of access road.

The weather was beautiful.Just being here has been great. We visited Abersoch and the garden centre has good food. The sunsets at Ty Gan y Mor have been incredible and the views are amazing! The design and detail of each room of the house is fabulous, the beautiful garden and hot tub add to the luxury. We would love to return here, why go through security and endless waits at airports, when you could be here in a few hours relaxing in peace and tranquillity on the Llyn Peninsula. We just don't want to leave. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your amazing property.

Beaches & Coastal Path

  • From the property take the public footpath which can be joined half way down the drive to the house descend into the village and join the coastal path here dipping down to Nefyn's wide sweeping bay a delightful sandy beach with colourful beach huts.

  • The path then winds its leisurely way along the clifftop dipping down to Morfa Nefyn beach walk along the beach in low tide to the former smugglers' cove of Porthdinllaen (NT) and enjoy a drink on the water's edge at the famous Ty Coch voted the 3rd most popular beach bar in the world! This is a unique location what could be better than sitting on the pub wall at high tide with a pint and feet in the water.

Nefyn Golf Club

  • Golfers holidaying in Wales always have this course on their agenda. Set on the clifftop just above Porthdinllaen its probably the most photographed course in Wales easy to see why as the location is spectacular and the course challenging.

Places to eat

  • Why not enjoy a hearty breakfast at the Porthdinllaen Cafe on Golf Road just before a game - hearty fisherman's breakfast or children's favourite Americana breakfast with bacon, pancake, banana and maple syrup!

  • The Bryncynan Arms on the outskirts of Nefyn is excellent as is The Ship - a gastro pub in Edern a few miles further along the Peninsula.

  • Twnti seafood restaurant is highly recommended and Plas Bodegroes is very special. Booking advisable at both establishments.

Plas Glyn y Weddw

  • Wales's oldest art gallery set in a dramatic location this Gothic manor house makes a perfect exhibition centre with artwork by renowned Welsh artists. Eat in their conservatory cafe or out on the lawn in good weather.

Aberdaron

  • The Land's End of North Wales is a small white washed village completely unspoilt with the National Trust buying land to deter development of the area visit the new visitors centre and learn more of the history.

  • Buy crab and lobster here or enjoy these award winning delicacies in the Ty Newydd Hotel and The Ship Hotel in the centre of the village. Eat out on the balcony at the Ty Newydd and enjoy the views across the 2 little islands called Isle of gulls and the ancient church perched precariously on the clifftop.

Abersoch

  • Abersoch could not be more different a great yachting and watersport centre lively and fun with tables spilling out onto the streets from the pubs and restaurants. At its most vibrant best in August during regatta week and fun in September jazz weekend with bands playing along the streets.

Days away

  • Spend a day exploring the Snowdonia National Park. Experience nostalgic steam train rides, breath taking walks and mountain biking opportunities. Visit historic sites, industrial heritage amnd mountain villages. Try new adventures at Zip World such as Zip Wire, Fforest Coaster, Treetop Adventures and Bounce Below.Learn to surf or brush up on your skills at Surf Snowdonia's state of the art Wave Garden inland at the foot of the mountain.

Enjoy year round luxurious holidays in this Nefyn cottage on the beautiful Llyn Peninsula.
