Geoffrey Cusick - 27th July 2018

Beautiful 'cottage in terrific location. Cottage contained all we needed for our stay. Very clean & comfortable. Owners friendly & approachable. Outstanding view from the terrace and we were able to enjoy it fully as the weather was so good. Walk to Machynlleth & back for supplies helped to burn the calories from cakes etc we bought in the excellent bakers/cafes. Highly recommended

Excellent barn holiday near Machynlleth. Great for six people three bedrooms each having en-suites. Countryside location and a great place for walking or touring by car. Good WIFI with reasonable speed. I would recommend, great place for a Welsh holiday. The only things I would have like were: Kingsize bed and one of the en-suites having a bath. Otherwise, this place is perfect.

A very well planned holiday accommodation with the benefit of three en-suite double/twin bedrooms This property was very well suited for my 80th. birthday celebrations with friends and family and is located in beautiful, interesting surroundings yet not to far from the shops etc. of Machynlleth. A further benefit of this property is the large heated lounge/dining area especially in inclement weather.

fantastic cottage amazing in fact, suberb location however information provided very poor ie equipment and places to walk dogs. Also visitors beware it is visited daily by a farmer call and feeding sheep , also bringing quad bikes , extra people and sheep dog , property open to road so great care needed with children and dogs

This place is magic! A perfect warm and cosy haven in the cold of the New Year. A wonderful welcome here and the facilities are perfect. Wonderful views and perfect surroundings made it extra special. We will certainly be back!

We have enjoyed a thoroughly pleasurable week here, from cows greeting us regularly, the owls soothing us and the red kites soaring overhead entertaining us. There are so many walks from the front door, or just a few minutes drive away. A genuine sense of peace is present at all times, we shall have to return to explore this unspoilt part of Wales.

A wonderful week in a great spot. Bird watching on the doorstep, mountains, forests and glorious beaches all within easy reach. We've loved coming back to such a comfortable cottage. A great 'chilling' place.

Our first visit to Pandy Bach and this part of Wales. Everything has exceeded our expectations. Pandy Bach really has the 'wow' factor. We are already planning our return visit. We've had two weeks of bliss. Thank you.

Thank you for providing an amazing home for the week. We are very fussy about our holidays, but this beautiful, clean, well maintained house would certainly entice us back. If there was WiFi, it would actually be the BEST by far!! See you again.

Stayed at Pandy Bach for a short break over the New Year period. A perfect warm and cosy haven. A lovely welcome by the owners and the facilities are perfect everything you need in a cottage. Stunning views and great surroundings made it extra special. Beach short drive away and dog friendly. We will certainly be back!

Mc Mullen party - New Year 2016/17

The pet friendly cottage is in a stunning location up in the hills-only 1.5 miles from the centre of town-but it feels as if you are miles away from civilisation. The views are absolutely beautiful. There are red kites by the dozen circling overhead and we even saw an osprey on the wing. There is a great family cycle trail (your dog can tag along too) called the Mawddach Trail, which starts at Dolgellau and goes alongside the estuary all the way to Fairbourne and Barmouth across the bridge. It's about 9 miles each way and flat-unlike Pembs!! You can walk from the cottage up the hill and into the forest and walk for miles off road - great for dogs and children. Cadair Idris is about 10 miles away and intrepid walkers can climb up - 5 hours there and back-but there are also easier walks for children and dogs around the base.

As close as we've ever come to the perfect cottage! We wanted peace & quiet, somewhere for the dogs (x3!), solitude, stunning views, privacy, warmth (well, it was early March!) and comfort like an old pair of slippers! Pandy Bach gave us an abundance of all this and much much more! Underfloor heating (cost in the price) made it constantly warm and the log burner just added the visuals. Rooms were great, spacious and well thought out. Living area is plenty big enough for six (although there were only two of us + dogs). Mobile signal is not good (what would you expect) BUT there is low speed broadband available at no extra cost - fine for emails but not so good for surfing! Added bonuses watching (distant) neighbours feeding the Red Kites every afternoon and addition logs delivered to the door (at a small charge). After 10 + years using cottages sometimes 2 - 3 times a year this is the first that we would think about returning to!
