If you've ever visited a holiday cottage before, you most likely have seen a guestbook in the property for guests to leave a review for others when they arrive. Each of the following comments was lovingly left by people just like you in the guestbook left at Cwm Nantcol Barn.
We had a great week at this property which is set is beautiful surroundings and a very peaceful location. With great walking on the doorstep, huge sandy beaches with sand dunes nearby and the fabulous bike trails in the Forest at Coed Y Brenin, we found a week just wasn't long enough to do everything we wanted to. The barn was really comfortable with everything we needed and the homemade lemon drizzle and bottle of wine on arrival was very welcome after a long journey. This was a great find and we'd definitely recommend it!
Fab cottage its got stunning views all around and towards the sea ,very clean and comfortable with all you need for your stay . We had some brill weather sunny and warm all week was very lucky . The owners live at back of cottage which there are two windows in bedrooms that look over but all you do is keep them closed no problem at all .its a large cottage with kitchen dinner, living room all in one ,double shower and king size bed ,two singles, plenty of room for everyone even our dog Zara .front of cottage is private with plenty of parking.lots of gorgeous beaches to visit on the this part of coast, Barmouth is great lots of shops, cafes.cant wait to go back again .
Well what can I say a fabulous, well situated barn. Yes as in other review the adjoining properties do prevent you from opening your curtains, but to be honest the best views are to the front of the property anyway. This did not spoil our stay at all. We have enjoyed having the views from the living area and the easy access to the surrounding areas. We brought our dog Poppy, who tried to make friends with Nell (the farm dog.) eventually by the end of the week they became good friends. I would say if you are going to look for fault your going to find them. Yes there are small things, but nothing that either spoils the holiday or hinders the beautiful experience or scenery of the cottage.
