Pandy Bach is an exceptional property. It's located on a hillside with stunning views but it is only 30 minutes walk into Machynlleth. It's incredibly spacious and well designed and also spotlessly clean.Everything is perfect and faultless in this property with such high quality furniture and kitchen equipment. It's the nicest place we have ever stayed in. Lovely helpful and friendly owners too. I can highly recommend Pandy Bach.

We really enjoyed our holiday at Pandy Bach. We have rented many cottages around the UK over the last 30 years, and this was definitely one of the best. The owners were very easy-going and helpful. The location is perfect. The pictures on the website are accurate. We were very lucky with fantastic weather, which set the house off very well. It is a recently converted barn. The conversion has been done really well. The bedrooms are on either side of a central space. This is lightly and appropriately furnished so that it is not at all cluttered (perhaps could do with a small nest of occasional tables stacked in a corner). There are a pair of double French windows leading out to a terrace. We had nearly all our meals and drinks out there. It had a great view over a paddock, down a valley, leading the eye to Cader Idris in the distance. The hills around were dotted with sheep and cattle. I had not realised there were so many tones to sheep calls. The general utility/cooking facilities worked fine. Just the right distance from town, so one had the feeling of remoteness, but just 10 mins drive to shops.
