A lovely house in a splendid location with great views. Well equipped and attractively presented. It felt very spacious for a two-bedroomed house. "Ample parking" round the corner was a bit of an exaggeration, though. Usually - if you're lucky - there is one space! We sometimes needed to park elsewhere in a short-stay space, then move the car later.
Lovely house and great location for exploring the area. The sea views and ease of access to the town make this an ideal holiday home, although you have to be prepared to sacrifice any peace, as the road outside is very busy. We witnessed a minor accident between two vehicles at the busy pedestrian crossing, which is directly outside the house. The promenade across the road is very popular and a lovely walk along to the lighthouse and RNLI in one direction and Swansea in the other. Parking can be problem and you have to be prepared to carry your bags from either Norton Road or Norton Avenue to the front of the house as there is no rear access to the property. This is OK if you're fit and able but if you have any mobility issues this is not the place for you. Both roads have parking restrictions with a limited amount of unrestricted parking - we were mostly lucky! Overall we had a lovely stay and the courtyard at the rear is a little suntrap for most of the day, which we enjoyed for our morning coffee and evening tipple! Verdict: Lovely house and area, but be prepared to make some compromises on noise and parking.
