Swansea Marina
  • Right outside the door is Kings Dock, no ships these days, but vibrant bars, cafes and restaurants.  Try Cafe Two Cann voted one of the top 10 best cafes in the UK by The Telegraph. Lunch at Gallinis authentic Italian restaurant with food just like mamma used to make.  Enjoy sun downers and dinner at La Parrilla Restaurant, just a 2 minute stroll from the apartment.

Dylan Thomas Centre
  • Swansea is the birthplace of Dylan Thomas, just 3 miles away in The Uplands. The Dylan Thomas Centre, just across the sail bridge from the apartment, is home to a permanent exhibition "Love the Words", which opened on 27 October 2014, Dylan’s 100th birthday. The interactive displays tell the story of the work, life and cultural context of one of the twentieth century’s most significant writers and the exhibition includes a learning space, activities for children, and a temporary exhibition area.
Swansea Indoor Market
  • Visit award winning Swansea Market, the largest indoor market in Wales. It maintains a century-old tradition of market trading in the heart of the city and offers tourists and local residents alike a unique shopping experience, 6 days a week.
  • This is the place to search for local delicacies such as cockles and lava bread harvested freshly from the shores around Gower. Coakley Green the Fishmonger always has the best of local seafood. His stall is a sight to behold with conga eels, live crabs and lobsters on the ice making a fascinating display.
  • With over 100 stalls boasting a wide selection of fresh, local produce and traditional Welsh fayre, many of the stallholders have been serving the people of Swansea for generations - real Welsh characters abound here.
The National Waterfront Museum
  • The National Waterfront Museum is housed in spectacular fashion in an original, listed waterfront warehouse linked to a new, ultra-modern slate and glass building. Here you can discover the Transport, Materials and Networks which were so important and the 'big things' that contributed so much to the industrial history of our nation.
