Lovely, but lacking basic provisions, no welcome pack, had to bring all essentials including toilet paper. Gorgeous location and great accommodation. We have come back for a second year.

The lounge and kitchen were superb - large , very well equipped with beautiful views. Other areas such as the back bedroom needed updating. Heating not efficient and very dated . We had trouble warming up the cottage .

Location location location - this is what this house is all about - and room. Minutes from the beach with amazing views over the bay from the very spacious and light living room. If you love beach life, this house is for you. The house itself is very spacious. Kitchen is lovely and again very spacious and well equipped. The bedrooms and bathrooms are not quite of the same standard, but then how much time do you spend in there. Only big issue we had was how to operate the storage heater in the far bedroom with the cot - getting hotter and hotter overnight was not great! Some instructions would have been helpful - there were instructions for everything else. Just come home and booked again for next year.

The living room is a real bonus at this property, I don't think the photos do it justice on just how spacious and airy it is. A nice quick walk to the beach is always welcomed, and we're happy to hear you loved the views, though how could anyone not? Feedback regarding the heating instructions taken on board, thank you for bringing this to our attention. Thank you for leaving a review, and a 5 star one at that!

Wonderful location, good layout, well equipped, needs a little work on internal decor to warrant 5* for the price.

Guestbook Comments

If you've ever visited a holiday cottage before, you most likely have seen a guestbook in the property for guests to leave a review for others when they arrive. Each of the following comments was lovingly left by people just like you in the guestbook left at Five Bays View.

The location and the views were stunning and the close proximity to the beach made it ideal for us and we would happily return another time. The interior was also very spacious, light and airy. There is no denying that the interior is a little dated but hardly detracts from the overall comfort and homely feeling. Prior to our arrival I contacted the caretaker regarding access and he was most helpful and the property had been cleaned thoroughly on our arrival.
