Bronallt is a lovely, comfortable, well equipped house with exceptional views over Aberaeron harbour and town. It is also a very good base for exploring West Wales.

The setting of the house was idyllic with a choice of patios facing the harbour and the sunsets. The house itself was very comfortable and the ground floor ensuite bedroom was perfect for our needs. The house has been renovated to a high standard while retaining many period features and it was a delight to stay there. We definitely intend to return for another holiday

A beautifully renovated Victorian terraced cottage, very comfortable and very well equipped, with wonderful views over Aberaeron town and harbour. We had a very warm welcome from the owners on arrival, who were most helpful.

Guestbook Comments

If you've ever visited a holiday cottage before, you most likely have seen a guestbook in the property for guests to leave a review for others when they arrive. Each of the following comments was lovingly left by people just like you in the guestbook left at Bronallt.

Aberaeron harbourside

  • Aberaeron has lots to offer - take a stroll around the quay and streets lined with brightly painted elegant Georgian houses, browse art galleries, visit the Aberaeron Sea Aquarium or take a catamaran trip (also available for hourly/weekly charter) and see the wild life - dolphins, seals, sea birds - and the rugged coastline of Cardigan Bay from a different perspective.
  • There is a selection of small shops to discover and a variety of pubs, eating places and restaurants serving local produce, including the award winning ' Hive on the Quay' and the ' Harbourmasters Hotel' .

Cei Bach Beach near Aberaeron

  • There are wonderful clifftop walks nearby and the coastal path, passing over a waterfall, wends its way from Aberaeron to the sheltered sandy beach of Cei Bach

Walk around Llangrannog Beach near Aberaeron luxury holiday home

  • Do enjoy this four mile coastal walk with views of the Lleyn Peninsula.

Dolphin Spotting Boat Trips in Cardigan Bay

  • Visit the seaside town of New Quay 7.6 miles away where regular dolphin spotting boat trips leave from the harbour. Enjoy a choice of sandy beaches, shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants too.

National Trust property Llanerchaeron

  • A cycle track along the old railway line takes you to Llanerchaeron, (NT) a small, recently restored, country mansion which offers a fascinating glimpse into life in the last century - even the walled garden has been carefully tended and brought back to some of its former glory.

Paisley Villa Etchings, Llandygwydd

  • Do visit this working artists studio/gallery showing finely detailed rural landscapes, characters and scenes. David's etchings have been shown at the Royal Academy and sold through Christie's catalogues. He uses methods unchanged for 400 years.

Red Kite Centre, Tregaron & Jen Jones Antique Welsh Quilts

  • Red Kites can be seen feeding daily during winter at the Red Kite Centre and Museum at Tregaron. Take time to learn about the Kites and other local wildlife as well as the cultural and rural heritage of the area.
  • Jen Jones Antique Welsh Blankets and Quilts at Lampeter is well worth a visit. Jen's extensive knowledge and her wonderful stock are fascinating.

Caws Cenarth (cheese)

  • Stock up on some traditionally made Welsh cheese praised by Prince Charles and Rick Stein. These artisan cheese makers can be found in Abercych. A gourmet treat to take back to your pet free luxury holiday seaside holiday home in Aberaeron

Cwm Tydu Seaside Award Rural Beach

  • This delightful secluded cove almost hidden amongst the rocks near New Quay once was the haunt of smugglers and pirates. Now Atlantic grey seals come ashore to give berth during autumn. The beach is predominantly shingle with sand at low tide.

Enjoy year round holidays in this comfortable and welcoming home in the vibrant seaside town of Aberaeron.
