About The Dairy Shed

Located just a few miles from the harbour town or Aberaeron the Dairy Shed is the perfect place for rustic relaxation. The building is a self-contained property with its own entrance and outdoor space giving guests privacy and quiet.

  • The fully equipped kitchen really makes this place a home from home. Why not bring the field to your table with a visit to nearby Blaencamel Organic Farm, where you can pick up local, organic produce.
  • The Dairy Shed also lends itself to alfresco dining, the oak french doors open out on to a large garden and patio area that overlooks acres of fields and woodland.
  • The lounge is spacious but intimate, fitted with a log-burner it is a restful place to curl up and lose yourself in a good book.
  • The accommodation has been designed to retain a traditional farmhouse feel. However, the added details are really what makes it unique.
  • Enter the bedroom through the hidden door in the bookcase, to reveal a spacious king-size bed. The bedroom is a calming and peaceful space, accentuated by the large windows that overlook the fields and woodlands beyond the property.

    The Harbourmaster
    Situated in the historic town of Aberaeron, the Harbourmaster is a great spot for a drink with panoramic views across the harbour. It‚??s reputation is up-held by the quality of the food, they specialise in local produce and have a superb selection of seafood. It can get busy on weekends so booking in advance is recommended.

    The Hive
    Famous for it‚??s honey ice-cream, a trip to The Hive is a must when visiting Aberaeron. It‚??s also a great spot for brunch, lunch and dinner and they often have live music in the evenings. Keep an eye on their social media pages for updates on their events.

    A short distance away from The Pig Let is Blaencamel Organic Farm. You can pick up some of their organic produce for your stay from their honesty box shop.

    Ty Glyn Trust Walled Gardens (The secret garden) ‚?? less than a mile from the cottage, turn left at the bottom of the drive and follow the road, it‚??s on your left after the second bridge. Here you‚??ll find a lovely walled garden and short river walk.

    The South Cardigan Bay coastline and the North Pembrokeshire coast offer some of the finest unspoilt scenery in Britain.

    The Ceredigion Heritage Coastal Path near Llangrannog and Penbryn offers 60 miles of delightful coastal path linking towns & villages with spectacular scenery, wildflowers, seabirds and a wealth of wildlife along the way.

    A highlight of a holiday on Cardigan Bay is a boat trip to see the resident schools of porpoise.
