Lovely cottage, well equipped with a super patio complete with amazing view and a bubbling stream. Very comfortable accommodation, well maintained and clean. Riverside and woodland walks direct from the door. Peaceful location good for touring the area. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
A modern and spacious cottage with all the facilities you'd expect. In a tranquil location where you felt in touch with nature, yet it was easy to hop to national trust places, beaches, small towns etc. With UK breaks likely for the foreseeable for many, we are likely to book an escape at Min Yr Afon again!
A wonderful cottage, spotlessly clean. Thank you for letting us stay here. Couldn't think of a better way to relax and watch Storm Dennis give us its best shot!
Our stay just wasn't long enough. The cottage is simply stunning. Location amazing with gorgeous walks we would love to return. Thank you for letting us stay.
Min yr Afon is a really outstanding cottage in a quiet part of Wales. There are a number of very attractive walks almost from the front door. The weather was changeable to say the least, however the cottage is so comfortable and the walks, especially the old railway, are suitable for most weathers, so it didn't matter. A fabulous cottage to which we hope to return.

Over a little footbridge and across the meadows takes you to the 18th century Welsh gentry estate.
The mansion (designed by John Nash) gardens and cafe are set amidst rolling parkland. There is a service courtyard with dairy, laundry, brewery and salting house and walled kitchen gardens (with produce for sale in season). It is also a working organic farm with Welsh Black cattle, Llanwenog sheep and rare Welsh pigs.
