Tucked away on a luxury estate near Cwm Tydu beach, this gorgeous stone cottage, makes a great base to visit this undisturbed stretch of Ceredigion coastline.
3 bedrooms sleeping up to 6. One ground floor twin bedroom suite with twin beds, a second television, and en-suite shower room with loo. Two bedrooms upstairs, one with a king-size bed and the other with twin beds. There is also a full bathroom including a shower.
Spacious lounge with a wood-burning stove, which opens out onto a lovely west facing private patio with barbecue and views of rolling farmland. The sitting room has a TV, DVD player with DVD's, books and games.
Luxury fully fitted integrated kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and microwave. Kitchen facilities include everything from a corkscrew to a Cafetiere. A welcome tray of homemade welsh cakes will be ready to greet you.
Outside: West facing private patio with barbecue and views of rolling farmland. There are extensive gardens and grounds around the cottage including forest trails, a *heated outdoor pool, tennis court. Around the trails discover picnic benches, bird boxes, donkeys, rare breed goats and sheep, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and guinea pigs!
*Please Note: the pool area is currently open for private use by each cottage. Guests will be allocated set times (unless by prior arrangement).
The pool opens end of May (the beginning of the Whitsun week) until the 1st of September. The pool will continue to be open for as long as possible after this date but is weather dependent.

Terrace Cafe, Cwm Tydu
Cwm Tydu and Terrace Cafe are well worth a visit. Teas, lunches, cakes and sandwiches, fresh coffee, and cream teas served to overlook the idyllic cove. Only a few minutes drive or a 30 minute walk away.
Cardiganshire Heritage Coast
The whole of the beautiful Cardiganshire Heritage Coast is within easy reach by car, with its many secluded coves and sandy beaches all linked by the Coastal Path - stunning coastal scenery, bird and marine life in abundance.
Llangrannog
Llangrannog, once infamous as a smuggler's haunt, is a pretty seaside cove at the mouth of a narrow valley with a sheltered, sandy beach overlooked by 'The Ship' - good bar food and drinks, 2 cafes and a general store.
New Inn, Llangrannog
Good food, friendly service, and excellent local knowledge are on offer at this popular coastal pub, with truly super Sunday carvery & family hospitality.
Llangranog Ski & Boarding Centre
The only 100-metre slope in west Wales with floodlighting for evening skiing offers an exciting and unusual distraction when on holiday.
Walk around Llangrannog
The four-mile coastal walk (pet welcome) around Llangrannog has lovely views of the Llyn Peninsula. Llangrannog Beach welcomes dogs all year round but in designated areas only during summer months. It takes about two hours. After your walk enjoy a light meal or an ice-cream at the Terrace Cafe (seasonal) or a drink and a seafood meal in the Pentre Arms Hotel.
New Quay Boat Trips
A holiday highlight on Cardigan Bay is a boat trip to see the resident schools of bottlenose dolphins. Regular boat trips leave from New Quay Harbour to cruise the beautiful Cardigan Bay Heritage Coast. Look out for dolphins, porpoise, and seals as well as many species of seabirds. Remember your camera and binoculars.
New Quay Beaches
There are not one but three sandy beaches in New Quay and all are within strolling distance of shops, cafes, pubs, and regular dolphin spotting boat trips from the harbour. Choose from Harbour Beach, Traeth Gwyn, and Dolau. Harbour beach is patrolled by lifeguards from mid-July to the end of August.
New Quay, Dylan Thomas & Water sports
New Quay is a bustling quaint small harbour village with narrow streets rising in terraces from the harbour. The village has gift and craft shops and a variety of pubs and restaurants - the newly reopened Black Lion Hotel and the Traith Restaurant adding to the upbeat tone of the town.
Dylan Thomas lived in New Quay in the 1940s and perhaps this is his ' cliff perched town at the far end of Wales'. It is the setting for a recent film about his life starring Kiera Knightly and Sienna Miller ' The Edge of Love' and the Dylan Thomas Trail takes you to many of his favourite places in the town.
There are water sports galore to enjoy - sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, kayaking, and fishing.
New Quay Honey Farm
New Quay Honey Farm produces and sells a wide range of honey-based products such as meads, sweets preserves, and other products. There is a tea room where honey cakes and other natural food can be enjoyed. It is located between Cwm Tydu and Aberaeron.
Tresaith
A sheltered bay and slipway popular with sailors is named after the River Saith which spectacularly cascades over the cliff tops onto the golden beach overlooked by the welcoming Ship Inn - relax with a drink on the heated sea terrace and spot the dolphins.
Aberporth
This small village has two fabulous beaches separated by a small rocky outcrop.
The more southerly of the two beaches is the most popular for families and for sunbathing while the northern beach is ideal for launching pleasure boats, including sailing boats, kayaks, and canoes.
Close to the beaches, there is a small seaside cafe, a souvenir shop and a friendly pub for good food and drink.
Mwnt (National Trust)
Off the beaten track this beautiful cove, surrounded by high cliffs, has a golden sandy beach reached via steep steps.
The sea off Mwnt is rich in wildlife, being a regular summer home to dolphins, seals, and porpoises.
The Church of the Holy Cross (Eglwys y Grog in Welsh), probably dating from the 14th century, sits on a headland above the cove and is an example of a medieval sailor's 'chapel of ease'.
Aberaeron Harbour Town & Beach
Aberaeron and its pebble beach is a Georgian jewel with elegant colour-washed houses surrounding the harbour - reputedly planned and designed by John Nash.
There is a range of small, interesting shops, craft centers, pubs, and the award-winning Harbourmaster's Restaurant (Good Food Guide and Gold Award, Wales) and The Hive on the Quay, famous for its honey ice cream.
Cardigan Town, Gwbert and St.Dogmaels
Lots to see and do in and around the town - 2 beaches to enjoy, Cardigan Golf Course (18 holes with glorious views) and dolphin spotting boat trips from the pontoon at the Patch beach at Teifi Boat Club (seasonal).
Nearby is Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park - a great family day out.
Try a spot of sea angling, fishing for salmon/sea trout on the River Aeron, or take a cycle ride along with one of the 5 Wales Cycle Trails.
Cardigan town has a high street lined with Georgian shop fronts as well as a thriving theatre/cinema and market and is just 10 minutes drive from Glaneirw.
In Gwbert, The Cliff Hotel boasts a lovely spa where a full day luxurious pampering can be enjoyed as well as a delicious lunch made with local produce overlooking Cardigan Bay.
St Dogmaels is a pretty Pembrokeshire village with the ruins of an abbey, a traditional working flour mill, and a great waterside pub - The Ferry Inn - and Bowens, perhaps the best fish and chip takeaway/restaurant in Pembrokeshire!

Cilgerran Castle National Trust
The striking romantic ruin of Cilgerran Castle has inspired many artists including Turner. It stands overlooking the Teifi river where it merges with the Plysgog stream. Therefore it was able to patrol both a natural crossing place and the passage of seagoing ships. Powerful twin towers remain.
National Coracle Centre, Cenarth Falls
Do visit this interesting museum and workshop dedicated to coracles from around the world set in a 17th C flour mill in the pretty hamlet of Cenarth. An interesting day - watch the salmon leap the spectacular falls during the autumn - a wonderful sight to behold!
Llanerchaeron (National Trust)
Nearby is Llanerchaeron - also designed by John Nash - a country gentleman's estate now owned by the National Trust - well worth a visit with a fascinating glimpse into the past in the restored house with its servant quarters and walled garden.
Welsh Wildlife Centre, Cilgerran
The Welsh Wildlife Centre in Cilgerran is set on the banks of the River Teifi in the Teifi Marshes Nature Reserve. The stunning award-winning building has panoramic views of the river, Cardigan, and woodland.
Watch the wildlife including water buffaloes and otters, play in the adventure playground or enjoy lunch at the 'Glasshouse Caf ' renowned for its locally produced food.
