Relax and unwind with friends or family with private views of the sea. The former stables of Llainfran provide luxury accommodation in a comfortable character cottage set within the grounds of a Victorian country house.
The downstairs accommodation provides a spacious open plan living space with a brand new kitchen along with great wifi. The lounge area has comfortable good quality sofa's and armchairs and a magnificent Inglenook fireplace with a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings all year round.
There is a cloakroom with WC on the ground floor.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms sleeping up to 6 people, a double, a king and a twin, plus a family bathroom and a separate shower room.
A private garden with a terrace, level lawns, a large barbeque grill, and ample garden furniture provides uninterrupted private views over the open countryside, wildlife pond and the sea beyond.
Animal lovers will be thrilled to find various friendly animals roaming in the surrounding fields of Llainfran Fach including sheep, goats, alpacas, two long-legged Rheas, and a couple of pretty lively donkeys. Feel free to get up close and say hello if you wish.
If you like hidden coves and secluded beaches, Cwmtydu and other hidden coves along the Ceredigion coast are just a walk down the lane.
Llangrannog and the harbour towns of New Quay and Aberaeron are a short drive away, so you'll be spoilt for choice for day trip inspiration.
Stable Cottage is the perfect home from home for six people seeking a tranquil break on the wonderful West Wales Heritage Coast, where you can walk, beachcomb, discover wildlife and historical sites, or just stay at home and read a book relaxing in the garden sun or snuggled up by the fire on cooler evenings. With its spectacular coastal scenery and unique wildlife, the Ceredigion coastline of Cardigan Bay is a little known gem of Britain. If you like hidden coves and secluded beaches, Cwmtydu is a short walk down the lane from Stable Cottage.
Llainfran lies on the southern edge of the Bay with far-reaching views to Bardsey Island and the Llyn Peninsula. It is the perfect base for exploring the south Ceredigion and north Pembrokeshire coasts. The rugged coastline is a diverse landscape with spectacular cliffs, hidden coves, smugglers caves and quiet sandy beaches; a refuge for wildlife but with a world of adventure on your doorstep. Explore the Wales Coast Path which links coastal villages, beaches and bays making this a haven for walkers and certainly a nature lover's paradise.
Dolphins and seals are frequent in the coastal waters within walking distance of Llainfran. Clifftop walks make this stretch of coastline ideal for dolphin watching, birdwatching or simply enjoying the fresh, clean coastal air. A tranquil escape from congested city life.
Pretty New Quay is a short drive away and is a popular holiday destination with its picturesque houses, pubs, cafe's and restaurants clinging to the sides of the hills rising above the blue waters of Cardigan Bay. The Dylan Thomas Trail in New Quay takes the visitor to many of the places either frequented by Thomas or believed to be mentioned in his famous play Under Milk Wood.
The larger town of Cardigan is not far away by car, its unspoilt, colourful townscape provides a rich heritage with a thriving culture of arts and crafts, events and music festivals, restaurants, markets, independent shops and a good selection of really great cafe's.
The Cardigan area is difficult to match for its range of coastal and inland walks, cycling, fishing, and coastal based activities from lazing on the unspoilt beaches to trying your hand at Sea Kayaking and Coasteering.
Inland the stunning landscape of the deeply wooded Teifi Valley is home to an abundance of wildlife including otters and is an anglers paradise, ranked as the best sea trout river in Europe.
Llangrannog Beach, just a ten-minute drive away, Here there are miles of tranquil, unspoilt coastline with secluded sandy coves, award-winning accessible beaches, towering cliffs garlanded with flowers in early summer, and islands set like jewels in clear waters with dolphins, porpoises and seals abound.
