Coastal Path
Y Tŷ Glas is just a few hundred yards from the Ceredigion Coastal Footpath. The path at the end of Lewis Terrace will take you to Cwm Tydu and Llangrannog to the south or north to Aberaeron and eventually to Aberystwyth.

Cei Newydd - New Quay

With its picturesque harbour and rows of colourful houses New Quay offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants. The sheltered harbour and safe beaches are the focus of activity in the summer when New Quay becomes a bustling and vibrant holiday resort, with boat trips, sailing, fishing, water sports and beach days on offer in abundance.
The town clings to the hillsides which rise up above the blue waters of Cardigan Bay. New Quay's stone pier has been standing for 200 years and is one of the best places to see the Bottlenose Dolphins for which Cardigan Bay is most famous.
New Quay was home to Dylan Thomas and is believed by many to be the fictional Llareggub of 'Under Milk Wood'. The Dylan Thomas Trail in the town will show you many of the places featured in the play.

The local area has much to offer with the safe and sandy beaches of Llangrannog, Tresaith, Penbryn and Mwnt just a short drive away.

Aberaeron is a charming regency town with multi-coloured houses and attractive harbour, a wide variety of shops and restaurants.
Twenty miles to the north of New Quay is Aberystwyth with its university, the Welsh National Library, The Ceredigion Museum and a wide range of shops and eateries.
Here also you can take a trip on the picturesque Rheidol Valley steam railway to Devils Bridge in the nearby Cambrian Mountains.
18 miles to the south of New Quay is Cardigan with its newly restored castle on the river Teifi and nearby St Dogmaels with its historic abbey and spectacular Poppit Sands.
