This was our third visit to this lovely house.Everything you need is supplied.House is fab. Views to die for.3 more visits already booked.
It's great to see the renovations to the property where we have stayed over many years. We enjoyed using the hot tub.We don't like the taps in the upstairs bathroom and the shower blocked on several occasions. We'd prefer a double bed in the largest bedroom upstairs.
Everything that i had hoped for as viewed from the website
9 of us ( 6 adults 3 children) plenty of space , the outside with the seating area and of course the hot tub we all loved it ..
Great house keeping, clean, comfortable, a high standard of interior design.Views were amazing.i would rate this as a 5 star+
If you've ever visited a holiday cottage before, you most likely have seen a guestbook in the property for guests to leave a review for others when they arrive. Each of the following comments was lovingly left by people just like you in the guestbook left at Estuary View Cottage.
Perfect short break in a beautiful place. Cardigan wild life park wetland boardwalk is excellent, the longest we've done. St Davids visitor centre to Porthclais circular walk a firm favourite. Obligatory ice cream in St Davids. Newport Parrog skimming stones, Tesco and Pizza deliveries and nice meal in Ferry Inn. Cottage spacious comfortable and warm, very loud geese and owls add to the character. Just off to Teifi Cheese to stock up on the way home. The weather has been excellent and mild, many thanks.
Thank you Natalie and Harry for letting us share your home from home once again. Each time we come here we find something new: this time it is the craft and produce market held every Saturday at the memorial hall in Aberaeron - many craft bargains on sale - well worth a visit and disabled access through the side door of the hall if needed. Vegan and vegetarian meals as well as normal fare at sensible prices at the Bunch of Grapes pub in Newcastle Emlyn - well behaved dogs welcomed with biscuits. Every time we come here we find something new and different: to wine and dine at reasonable prices; a foodies dream. Cannot wait for our next visit!
A lovely 2 week holiday with two sets of grandparents, 2 dogs, 2 children and us. This is our second stay here and our in-laws fourth stay! A wonderful home to enjoy, we don't want to leave! Crabbing at the pontoon, dinner and lunch at Ferry Inn. Dinner at Webley, boat trip was a day to remember, highly recommended - saw dolphins, seals and jellyfish! Cardigan Island farm park great day and lovely walk to see seals. Beaches - Tresaith - tricky parking but worth it! Mwnt, Poppit sands. we loved Pizza Tipi, sweet shop in town and used local pool and soft play on our one wet day in two weeks! The wildlife nature research was lovely, you can walk from Jewsons in Cardigan along the river. We had a wonderful evening toasting marshmallows and playing on the tree swing in the gorgeous grounds. Will be back - thank you!
A great week enjoying North Pembrokeshire. We enjoyed the lovely views from the cottage, inside and out, in the sunshine and showers. We recommend the walks from the track in front of the cottage, into St Dogmaels and the other way to Poppit sands. St Dogmaels abbey is worth exploring, as is Cardigan, although Cardigan castle does not allow dogs. We enjoyed fish and chips from Bowen's and on a separate day, 'The Shed' at Porthgain, both recommended although our Pembrokeshire number 1 remains The Marina in Saundersfoot. A lovely cottage in a great location, thank you.
Another lovely week at Estuary View. Good weather despite heavy rain as we are packing the car to leave :-(. Played Cardigan golf course again and still thrilled by the views and the challenge. Altogether another lovely week at Estuary View. Thank you.
