We have stayed at the Artists studio several times now, unfortunately it does need some TLC. However I understand it has now been sold and no longer can be rented so last comment is irrelevent.

The location is superb with stunning views, but we did feel that the Studio needs some attention. The bathroom could do with refurbishment, parts of the apartment were not clean and the settees were not comfortable. There was no up-to-date tourist information, local maps etc. A minor issue, but there were just a few pegs on the line and these were rusty. When was it last inspected? I think the certificate said 2011.

It could have merited at least 4 stars had it been cleaner and better organised. People should also know that parking is problematic.

The position and views were spectacular and the studio was a good size for two people. Parking is an issue and the description on the website isn't clear enough. This is a pity as The studio is perfect for someone with mobility issues, grab rails in bathroom appreciated. The studio is well equipped but a bit tired in places. The shower head definately needs replacing.

excellent property, the views were to die for. there was everything you needed at the property and it is in a good location. It was in need of bit of updating, but this didn't affect our holiday

Its all about the view and its tremendous day or night. Probably not suitable for the very young given the cliff edge and parking might be problematic on occasion (although not when I was there). Well furnished throughout and comfortable living.

Christopher Smith - 15th July 2018

Cottage location was excellent and views onto ever changing estuary was amazing. However, I think the studio needed some TLC as written a few times in comments book but I think it is work in progress. I spent time organising the kitchen drawers, cupboards and lounge cupboard as everything was just thrown in everywhere just this small amount of work improved things immensely and improved life when cooking.
