About Little Brook Cottage

Holiday cottage near Laugharne & Pendine sleeps 4. Two well behaved pets welcome

A very comfortable, warm and welcoming cottage. We stayed here for a Christmas break and had not expected to have home made mince pies, Christmas lights on the gate and a decorated Christmas tree. The kitchen was fitted and supplied with everything we needed to cook our Christmas meal and there was plenty of basic provisions provided that is not always provided. Lots of soft large towels also are provided. Our cavachon was very happy staying here and the hard floors are very practical for a dog.The house itself has a lovely character and has been beautifully finished. The cottage has its own drive and enclosed garden with plenty of privacy despite adjoining the owners diary farm. The beach at Pendine is a few miles down the road and is a beautiful huge sandy beach. Fabulous walk on Christmas morning. Laugharne and Tenby and all the small towns and beaches in between are all lovely places to visit in winter. All in all this is a lovely place to stay and a particularly good choice for a winter break.

A very well equipped and comfortable cottage that I could happily live full time in. The odd "moo" from the cows just adds to its rural charm. The location makes it good for exploring both Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.

The barn is beautiful, fully equipped clean and warm. One of the nicest properties we have found that are dog friendly. Despite the weather (we did have 3 days of sunshine) we had a very relaxing holiday.

So glad that you had a great stay and the dog loved it despite the weather, thank you for your review.

As a customer who has two dogs needing a secure garden, and with a love of the Pembroke beaches, this property ticked all the boxes, and was better than some previous ones. It was a 4.9 star, as we would have liked a downstairs toilet (which is not practical), but this would have made it a 5 star. A definite candidate for returning (and we had sun every day, in November !).

Thank you for much for your review and continued support. Glad that the sun shined every day, hope to see you again soon.

Absolutely a quality cottage. Very well equipped, clean and lots of space for the dogs too. Thank you for the cake and flowers as this was a lovely touch. Quiet and relaxing.

Once we stepped into this beautiful house we were amazed by the cake and wonderful flowers. The brook was also lovely and we enjoyed meeting the calves. It was a great location for getting to beaches and family. It as nice to have some movies to watch in front of the lovely fire. We found it was the perfect size, good for the dog as well. All facilities worked well and we hope to stay here again soon.

Little Brook Cottage is excellent. It is spotlessly maintained by the owners and every effort has been taken to make guests feel welcome and at home. From the homemade cake and fresh flowers on arrival to the well-stocked kitchen, it seems like the owners have really thought about what their guests might need. Everything in the cottage is of very good quality. The owners live on the working farm next door and were helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make my stay a happy one. The cottage is in a beautiful location and, although I was here for work, I was able to take a few walks along the coastal path which were stunning. We'll definitely be back.
