Three glorious beaches & Harbour

Saundersfoot, Coppet Hall, The Glen are 3 lovely beaches, and a picturesque harbour are all within a short 7-mile drive.

Saundersfoot is a pretty bustling seaside village with many independent shops. Don't miss Chobbles - an old fashioned traditional sweet shop, Christ Kind- a wonderful gift shop and Walk on Water - kite surfing, power kiting, kayak hire and gifts galore.

St Brides Hotel & Spa

Indulge in a treat and try a Spa day at this luxury 5-star boutique hotel designed around its spectacular view over Saundersfoot Harbour and Carmarthen Bay.

Pembrokeshire Coastal Path

At low tide stroll across golden sands from Saundersfoot to the small village of Amroth (the start or end of the Coastal Path) with its Blue Flag beach and secluded Monkstone Point Beach.

The Coastal Path runs in either direction - flat path for bikes/wheelchairs towards Coppet Hall Beach and Tenby in the other direction.

Stop off and indulge in the wonderful Coast restaurant with a spectacular view over the bay, and Michelin rated food.

Colby Woodland Garden (NT)

These beautiful historic gardens are a must for garden lovers in any season but are particularly beautiful in the early summer. Enjoy a family day out here - children can build dens, cross streams with ropes, maybe plant bulbs or spread wildflower seeds, spot wildlife and birds.

Relax in the eco cafe with its log fire and extensive wildlife library

Tenby, Caldey Island & Fun Days Out:

Within easy reach is a wide variety of things to do for all the family. A visit to lively and ever-popular Victorian Tenby is a must with its shops, pubs, restaurants and miles of golden sands - a boat trip to the monk's island of Caldey during the summer months is a real treat.

Shore Fishing at Freshwater West & East, Rock fishing off Monkston Point

Shore fishing from the rocks and beaches around Freshwater West and East is arguably some of the best in Wales. Remember to pack your fishing gear.

Monkston Point is a good place to bag bass but take care not to get cut off by the tide. A 2 lb bass takes 30 minutes in a hot oven. Just lay on a bed of fresh herbs, sliced onions & seasoning in a buttered pan, pour over 1/2 pint of white wine. Cover and cook. Serve with the remaining white wine chilled. Delicious!

Narberth nearby is a small ancient thriving market town with a ruined castle and a mixture of small interesting shops - fishmonger, butcher, grocer, ironmongers, delicatessen, wonderful cake shops, art and craft galleries, antique shops, pubs and restaurants - a great place for gift shopping!

Take a revitalising swim at Narberth's 20 m x 7 m swimming pool or relax in the delightful informal Ultra Comedia Cafe/Tapas Bar/Delicatessen - enjoy delicious produce from Wales, Spain and France. Drop-in at any time during the day - booking necessary for evening meals
