What a find. Please can we buy your house? We want to book for next year please. Your house is stunning - wouldn't change a thing. The children loved walking to the beach.... Thank you for letting us share your house. We loved horse riding on the beach & apart from that we do not have any other recommendations as we didn't need to go anywhere. (Thank you for the wine . Yummy)

Contemporary cottage with lovely mid-century furnishings and design theme. Good sized bedrooms, bathrooms modern. Lounge and kitchen area superb, aided by lovely balcony/ terrace. Thoughtful touches throughout and the owners clearly care about the happiness of guests. Oh and the gardens are delightful.

The farmhouse was very well-equipped from the kitchen to the sun-room/deck. Beds and sofas were very comfortable. Bathrooms were newly renovated with high-end fittings. It was a home away from home.

Property Description
Druidston Old Farmhouse is an ideal beach holiday home with stunning views of the St. Davids Peninsula & St. Brides Bay
  • Druidston Beach is a 20 minute walk away by footpath from the Old Farmhouse.
  • With stunning sea views of the whole of the St Davids Peninsula and St Brides Bay from its new first floor decking and sun room, the Old Farmhouse is tucked away amongst the trees in the valley above the beach.
  • This traditional detached stone farmhouse has 4 comfortable bedrooms (1 en-suite) sleeping 8 and shower room on the ground floor where your toes will be warmed by under-floor heating.
  • The first floor sitting room retains the feeling of a traditional cottage with sofas and armchairs clustered round the wood burning stove.
  • The modern kitchen/diner is a large room equipped with all you need and with the dining table close by, meal preparation can be a sociable event.
  • The heating system is provided by solar panels and a low-carbon fuel system and the renovation has been done with a focus on sustainability in an attempt to bring an old, loved building into modern use whilst also taking care of the environment.
  • The cottage would always have been a delight but the recently added sun room and deck transform the farmhouse with a more open contemporary style into something quite unique - the views delightful on a balmy summer day and dramatic in a winter blow!
  • This is a house for garden lovers with a professionally designed wilderness garden including wildlife habitats.
  • Druidstone, a charming family & pet friendly hotel, restaurant and bar with rambling coastal garden sits in an idyllic clifftop location just 15 minutes walk away.

Druidston Haven and Nolton Haven

  • Just a 20 minute walk away from the house the beautiful unspoilt beach of Druidston Haven is bounded by towering rock faces, home to myriad sea birds and with more than a mile of smooth, golden sands at low tide.
  • Druidston, if you are a walker, is an access point for the Pembrokeshire Coast Path with its 186 miles of fabulous coastal scenery.
Horse Riding
  • If you ride you can visit nearby Nolton Haven Stables and gallop across the sands. Or if you just want to relax, enjoy good food and wine in a friendly family atmosphere call in to the Druidstone Hotel overlooking the beach (open all day and all year).
Little Haven and Broad Haven
  • Broad Haven, with its safe, golden sands popular for watersports of every kind, and Little Haven, a quaint seaside village with a pretty sandy cove, offer you pubs, restaurants and cafes, a tea room, an art gallery and life boat station gift shop as well as a well-stocked shop/post office.
St Bride's Bay Water Taxi for Walkers
  • Solva Sailboats operate a water taxi which will take you to your chosen destination from where you can walk back along the stunning Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to Solva. Possible destinations include Porth Clais, Porthmynawydd, St Justinians, Nolton Haven and Little Haven (weather dependent). Phone 01437 720972.
Outdoor Activities and Family Entertainment
  • Pembrokeshire is a magnet for outdoor enthusiasts, the outdoor centre at St Davids originating the term 'Coasteering', coined because the coastline lends itself to the sport's energetic blend of climbing and cliff jumping. Exhilarating boat trips or more leisurely cruises for the less adventurous, are available from many small harbours around the Pembrokeshire Coast.
Leisure Parks for Family Fun
  • Take your family for a 'fun' day out at Dr Beynon's Bug Farm, Hangar 5 Trampolines, Oakwood Leisure Park, Heatherton Sports and Theme Park, Folly Farm or Manor Wildlife Park - all within an easy drive.
Luxurious Spa Treatments
  • Perhaps escape from the family for a day of sheer indulgence in a Spa - Lamphey Court Hotel & Spa is in the village of Lamphey, Ivybridge Spa is at Goodwick or the newly opened Beauty Within is at Llangwm (07795 431671).

Boat Trips

  • Boat trips leave from Martins Haven on the Marloes peninsula to visit the internationally important Skomer Island a haven for wildlife and in particular myriad breeding seabirds including comical puffins and hardy little manx sheerwaters. Seals are in abundance too. Alternatively join a boat at St Justinians near St Davids for trips out to rugged Ramsey Island RSPB. At Tenby boats leave from the harbour to visit Caldey Island home to Cistercian Monks.

This characterful renovated old farmhouse near Druidston beach makes a wonderful base for exploring the whole of Pembrokeshire at any time of the year.
