About Coldstream Lodge

Large Grade 2 listed pet-friendly handsome Victorian residence, perfect for large families and friends

  • Situated in the beautiful unspoilt waterside village of Dale, Coldstream is a handsome Victorian Lodge with spacious proportions, providing plenty of space for all the family.
  • Only a short stroll from the gentle lapping waterfront, the sailing boats, Boathouse Cafe and Griffin Pub, this is an excellent choice for those seeking fun on the water or more relaxing pursuits on the water's edge.
  • This substantial period home has a picture postcard exterior, with beautiful large sash windows, fretwork porch and picket fence.
  • Internally, each of the rooms are comfortably furnished, with a variety of bedrooms over the first and second floor to suit all members of the party, many with window seats to look out of or simply daydream.
  • There are two separate sitting rooms, one with an open fire, perfect for families or friends wishing to spread out or do their own thing. The large well equipped modern kitchen has everything that you will need to prepare a treat, from a hearty traditional breakfast to a celebration diner.
  • From the light filled dining room, look out to the large walled garden, and beyond across the beautiful green meadow and grazing cattle.
  • Step out through the French doors to the raised terrace dining area, down to the large lawn garden with apple tree and shrubs, a peaceful haven to end a lovely day or a safe place for little ones to play until bedtime.

  • Dale, famed as one of Britain's finest waterways attracts enthusiasts, amateurs and beginners from all over the country and overseas to develop their sailing, wind surfing, surfing, water skiing and power boating skills throughout the year. West Wales Water sports offer tuition in all these sports for every ability throughout the year.

  • Basic provisions are available at the Boathouse Cafe. Newspapers and Post Office are available in Marloes village shop 3 miles away.
