Guest Book Comments

For a Quality cottage in the price code of 15 I found it very disappointing. It is well over-priced. On arrival on a bitterly cold day the house was freezing. The heating was adequate except in the kitchen which only had a small radiator in a very big room. The kitchen remained cold for the entire week. All the door locks need attention, they are all very stiff to use. Some cannot be locked from the inside others from the outside! The washing machine drain was blocked so it emptied and flooded the courtyard area. The lounge furniture was extremely uncomfortable and saggy. On the plus side - the bedrooms were nicely decorated and comfortable. The bathroom looked newly installed and clean, however with no heating it remained cold. Jane the caretaker was pleasant and friendly. We will not be returning.

A beautiful, comfortable cottage, very well equipped, and in a perfect location. The one improvement that would have made it 5 star would be a shower in the second bathroom, even if it was one that went over the bath. We would have preferred Saturday to Saturday changeover to accommodate school and work weeks.
