Fantastic location, well equipped cottage. Friendly local pub, shame it didn't do food! A dog's paradise, and great for us too.
Wonderful idyllic cottage in beautiful surroundings. Well maintained and immaculately clean. Would thoroughly recommend
It was a beautiful location and great quality accommodation. We were sorry to leave.

Thank you for your 5 star rating so pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay.
Quaint cosy and very warm. Equipped with everything you could want. Underfloor heating and log burner meant never cold. Master with en suite bathroom and second bedroom with wet room. Ideal property for dogs as walks in every direction upon leaving property and stream for cooling dips. We loved it.

Glad you loved your stay at Court Lodge, thank you for your lovely comments
The cottage is undoubtedly attractive and in a beautiful peaceful rural location but with quick access to the coast ,St David's and Cardigan. There is a framed award in the cottage for the quality of the restoration and it IS lovely BUT ....... A lovely wood burner is nice ( and necessary - even in May the cottage was chilly) but why are there no tools ? Hard to keep a wood fire going with no poker!! There is no information anywhere about refuse collection and recycling. The kitchen is tired and poorly equipped-- the smallest thinnest plastic 'chopping board' I've ever seen and a breadboard on which only the smallest loaf could fit.A random assortment of mismatched glasses and a 12 person cafetiere which is hopeless for 2/4 .The whole thing sadly left an overall impression of meanness- my husband and I bought four decent matching wine glasses and four fizz glasses in Morrisons in Haverfordwest for 7 !!!.Perhaps it's been a while since housekeeping cast a critical eye over things but it's something that needs to be done regularly.

Thank you for your comments, we have spoken to the owner today, her response is below:- The whole of the ground floor has underfloor heating which can be controlled by guests so no one should be cold. Instructions will be added regarding recycling and new chopping boards added. There are plenty of glasses and the cafetiere was replaced by previous guests who broke the original one.
If you've ever visited a holiday cottage before, you most likely have seen a guestbook in the property for guests to leave a review for others when they arrive. Each of the following comments was lovingly left by people just like you in the guestbook left at Court Lodge.
In more than 30 years of holidays in various regions of England and Wales, this cottage is the one that we will be most reluctant to leave. It has just about got everything that we love most. It has more than lived up to our expectations. A cosy, warm and interesting house in amongst woodland, streams and hills. It has been a truly wonderful week and the cottage and wonderful walk in your woods just what we love. We will be recommending it to family for sure. Thank you so much for the wine and cakes.
We had a very nice stay in the cottage, weather was good, friendly folk at the pub. Caught 4 trout at the small waterfall up stream. Good walks locally.
Thank you for a lovely week - cottage beautiful in a beautiful setting - many thanks for the wine etc - lovely welcome - home from home!!
Fantastic cottage! The perfect holiday with great dog walks. Loved Newgale beach. Superb fish and chip shops, 'The Shed' Porthgain, is highly recommended. Saw dolphins from the harbour wall at New Quay (1 hour away). Had fun spotting bats at night.
A very pretty cottage. Very relaxing, in lovely setting. Interesting wildlife, red kites, kingfisher and owl. Can't believe our luck with the weather. 13 days of sunshine! Lovely beaches - Newport and the two little bays between Dinas Cross & Newport idyllic. New Quay good for dolphin spotting and good restaurants overlooking sea. The Hungry Trout does an excellent lobster salad. Thank you for the welcome gifts and a wonderful holiday.
