Lovely location. Superb accommodation. Host a delight to meet
Friendly owner and lovely location. Cosy cottage and very dog friendly. We know the area well from many visits and really enjoyed our week. Thank you.
Second visit to this idyllic place. A superb property set in well maintained gardens which the owner Silvia obviously takes great pride in. The cottage is furnished with an eclectic mix of lovely pieces and the lounge area is a wonderful place to relax. Silvia ia a fabulous host with really good local knowledge. Already looking forward to our next visit.
The location was beautiful, the cottage we stayed in was clean and airy and lovely. The grounds were really pleasant and the owner was a wonderful, kind person who was very helpful. It was a.very feel good place that I would love to go back to. The ony problem was the lanes which made driving difficult and rather stressful (which wasn't anyones fault. Can I also say that in the road directions saying that Serendipity was only 10 minutes from Newport was a little misleading for people like us who had never been to the area before as there are three Newports in the area and we off course headed in the wrong direction on the way there!
If you've ever visited a holiday cottage before, you most likely have seen a guestbook in the property for guests to leave a review for others when they arrive. Each of the following comments was lovingly left by people just like you in the guestbook left at Serendipity.
We had such a lovely holiday! Thank you for allowing us and Peroy, Hugo and Martha to share your garden and gorgeous surroundings. We had everything we needed in the cottage and so enjoyed the spacious relaxing sitting room. All in all a little bit of heaven - for which we were extremely grateful!Best wishes and good luck with future developments.
Serendipity is a lovely cottage situated in the heart of the Gwaun Valley, a place like no other. The valley seems not to have changed for hundreds of years and is a truly unique place, with abundant wildlife and nature right on your doorstep. Serendipity fits right into this landscape. This charming house offers absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay and offers privacy and relaxation. We found the owner to be caring, attentive and full of local knowledge; Serendipity comes very highly recommended and I am sure we will return in the future!
