  • Overlooking the tidal inlet this spacious waterside holiday home, one of a pair, see ~Woodpecker (1186)~ is set in a private waterfront development and has an open plan living/dining/kitchen area with a luxury kitchen.
  • Patio doors open from the living/dining area onto a terrace overlooking the Pill - a wonderful place for barbecues and sun downers.
  • 2 of the en-suite bedrooms overlook the Pill, one with a 'Juliet balcony'. The rear bedroom also has a 'Juliet' balcony with an adjoining luxury bathroom.

Lovely cottage. Immaculate throughout very clean. Ideal location for exploring Pembrokeshire. Weather was fantastic bar one day so ideal to visit beautiful beaches with the children. If wanting to dine out, Martha's Vineyard in Milford Haven Marina is a must - fantastic location, food and service. Gwyliau gwych.

Very clean and comfortable, lovely views. Good location for visiting most of West Wales - some nice walks nearby too. Weather was sun and more sun - lucky us!

After a long, wet and windy drive, what a treat to arrive to a warm well equipped & comfortably furnished house. We spent Christmas here & really enjoyed the fab views, swans, call of the curlews & other bird life. St Davids Cathedral & city is really worth a visit.

Pembrokeshire Beaches & Coastal Path

  • Pembrokeshire's superb coastline is within an easy drive from this waterfront holiday cottage. Dale is a picturesque coastal village with a wide variety of water sports to choose from - tuition and a full hire service for surf boards wet suits and kayaks is available. The Griffin Inn at Dale is an award winning pub and serves fresh locally caught fish by the pub's own fishing boat.
  • Marloes (NT), Watwick Bay, Broad Haven North - beautiful golden sandy beaches on the Dale Peninsula are all just a short drive from the cottage.
  • On the south coast of Pembrokeshire find exotic Barafundle Beach, voted one of the best picnic spots in Europe, Freshwater East , a big beach popular for all kinds of ball games and the pretty seaside village of Manorbier.
  • Wonderful coastal walking along the Coastal Path - cliffs carpeted with wild flowers in the spring, sea birds galore and spectacular scenery.

Milford Haven & Marina just 1 mile from this Pembrokeshire waterfront holiday cottage

  • Once a commercial quayside there are now cafes, restaurants and smart shops, with a ten pin bowling alley and an indoor play area on the western side of the marina. It makes for a perfect time to while away the days watching the Marina's activity or enjoying a coffee in one of the many smart cafes. Stop for lunch at Foam and enjoy a Sharing Board and a glass of wine, or how about Afternoon Tea with finger sandwiches, warm scones and a glass of bubbles.
  • Sailing is a popular pastime in Milford Haven the marina and all its support services replace the once massive fishing fleet. The seafaring history of Milford Haven can also be seen in the local museum, housed in one of the oldest buildings in the town - the old whale oil storage building built in 1797.
  • The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs through Milford Haven as it skirts the edge of the Milford Haven Waterway. Highlights in the vicinity include Lindsway Bay and Sandy Haven.

  • Just a short drive from this waterside holiday cottage is Milford Haven Golf Club - with a warm and welcoming club house serving excellent food and a challenging 18 hole course with panoramic views over the Haven Waterway.   • Excellent Brunel Cafe & The Bar restaurant overlook the water and wild life adventure boat trips and sea safaris leave from here.
  • A cycle path from here takes you through a nature reserve (Westfield Pill) and all the way to the county town of Haverfordwest.

  • This popular Victorian holiday resort with Blue Flag beaches and quaint cobbled streets has a wide choice of boutiques, galleries, pubs, restaurants, and coffee shops. The picturesque harbour is where boats leave for Caldey Island which is owned by monks of the Cistercian Order.
