Hill Cottage

Fantastic New Years break. The house is amazing and all the little extras were so appreciated. We have loved every minute of our time in Pembrokeshire & can't wait to come back. Ditto the above - felt at home as soon as we arrived & had an amazing week, Will definitely be back!!

Thank you for a wonderful cottage - a great base for exploring wonderful coastline in beautiful West Wales. Would recommend cheese & leek Welsh cakes in Mamgu, Solva and beautiful beach and walk from Cwm yr Eglwys.

Lovely half term break thank you - most amazing Sunday weather for a walk on Marloes - saw a seal pup! Very generous meals at The Glen pub - two minute walk from house. Made good use of all games, books and the Wii. Blue Lagoon useful on a wet day and enjoyed the Welsh bakery and Prendergast butchers in Haverfordwest.

Beautiful cottage, felt like home after the first day! Everything you need. Can recommend wildlife Manor Park, Blue Lagoon water park, both big hits!Tenby beach beautiful. Had lots of fun in the Hot Tub!! Just give it time to warm up! Have had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Will return to Pembrokeshire.

We've had a fantastic week visiting some beautiful places here in Pembrokeshire. Marloes Beach, Freshwater West, Barafundle Bay all big hits! Stand up paddle boarding at Stackpole Quay is recommended - even saw a seal. Also made a trip up to New Quay for dolphin watching - amazing!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very tastefully finished cottage. We loved looking at the 'before and after' photos. A great week with some lovely weather. Some amazing beaches and beauty spots to visit. The National Trust beaches were well worth a visit. Family enjoyed the hot tub.

Beautifully appointed cottage with every convenience. Even the WiFi met with approval! The weather was not all it could have been, but what a divine place to be marooned! The hot tub was well used, even in the inclement conditions and a good time was had by all. Thank you!

Lovely house & a fantastic area to visit! First time here & we would definitely come again. The kids have loved playing in the garden and 'the hot tub was brilliant' (Juilet's words!). Such a lot to see and do in the area., we've also been very lucky with the weather ( a bit sunburnt!). Particularly recommend Marloes beach and the sea safari to Skomer, Skokholm etc.

What a lovely house! The outside bar & hot tub proved very useful on our 50th wedding celebration. The dog enjoyed the playing field at the top of the lane & weather very lovely. We enjoyed Broad & Little Haven, Newgale, Hilton Court Gardens and the art gallery in the new library in Haverfordwest.

We have had a wonderful stay at Hill Cottage! We have been so lucky with the weather and have been able to enjoy the outside bar, table & hot tub every day (and BBQ). Everything was fab! Visit Marloes beach! Bit of walk downhill, but worth it!

What a wonderful place! This house has everything you could ever need for a fantastic holiday! We loved the bar & making cocktails. The hot tub & back garden are amazing. We had lots of games & fun in the great enclosed front garden. We visited some great places - Stackpole, Stackpole Inn, Skomer Island (get there early for tickets!) Solva, Folly Farm, Heatherton World of Adventure, Bosherston (amazing) & more! Beaches are all gorgeous. Fab location for day trips. Thank you. A wonderful clean welcoming cottage, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Central to all amenities. Would definitely recommend. The transformation from the old to new is outstanding!!

Day One - 1st thing - looked at the renovation photos - wow! Worthy of Grand Designs. And then tried the hot tub - brilliant. Day Two - Sunday: Tash the Dash exploring house & garden. Little Haven for lunch at the castle. Views & good food. Day Three - Narberth. Nice town Expensive shops. Day Four - Stackpole Inn. Food is amazing. Day Five - Milford Haven Waterfront & galleries. Bought a nice painting. Barrafundle Bay - steep climb down and up, but gorgeous. Day Six - Tenby. Cute town! Lovely harbour & beach. Good food at Hope & Anchor. Thank you. Very comfortable house. Hot tub is addictive! Tesco just around the corner.

Wonderful house, everything you could ask for. Hot tub a fantastic bonus - we all enjoyed it!! Highly recommend a drive to Stackpole Quay and a walk to Barafundle Bay - absolutely beautiful!! Crabbing off the pontoon at Dale is great fun. Food at The Lost Coins and Griffin Inn are also a must. Thanks so much for all the joy the house has given us this last week.

A fantastic cottage for a family week away away. Lots of great beaches locally, our daughters particularly enjoyed going crabbing in Solva and Dale, catching lots every time, including a huge spider crab. There are lots of good places for lunch and would especially recommend The Stone Crab on the front in Saundersfoot and The Griffin Inn in Dale, both offer a large range of locally caught fish and seafood. House was excellent meeting the needs of all our party aged 8 to 80! Thank you.

Having already stayed in another of your properties, we knew before we arrived that it was going to be wonderful - and Hill Cottage is certainly that! Upon arrival the house was beautifully dressed for Christmas and we were greeted with a wonderful Christmas hamper, which even included a stocking for the dog! The house has a wonderful cosy feel, especially with the log burners going & the hot tub was the icing on the cake! Everything we needed, has served as the perfect base for our travels (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Newgale Beach, Blue Lagoon, Marloes Sands & Pembroke). There is a lovely woodland walk left out of the gate, as well as the racecourse for dog walks! In the words of our 5 year old 'Mummy, can we buy this house?' He doesn't want to go home! Thank you

We arrived after a long journey to find a lovely property. Cannot thank you enough for such a lovely comfortable stay. I love Pembrokeshire, the beaches and countryside. Will be back and recommend to friends. Thank you also for wine & chocolates. Really, really lovely!

After a long journey, our spirits were lifted by the fantastic property waiting for us. A brilliant week was enjoyed locally and also Folly Farm and fishing trips on the sea. Wales has much to offer all ages and we ranged from grandchildren to grandparents. Back to Hill Cottage and we couldn't have wished for anything more.

A lovely well presented cottage, which is well equipped for every event, you have made a beautiful cottage which makes you feel at home. The area is good for shopping, eating out and has easy access 30-40 mins to local attractions, Nice thoughtful touch of a welcome card wine/chocs, thank you. We have all enjoyed our holiday in Wales and would recommend others your cottage.

This was a lovely stay at Hill Cottage which made an unfamiliar place into a home. With more sights to explore around Wales, this was a perfect place to come back to on a tiring day. From a kind greeting with chocolates and wine to a wistful goodbye to Hill Cottage. We enjoyed all of it and wish the very best to others who will stay here.

Fantastic cottage, lovely dog walks up the lane around old racecourse - beaches at Bosherston Lilly Ponds & Marloes Sands are great. We can highly recommend the fish & chip shop in Pembroke (one next to the castle) We have loved our stay here & hope to return to this stay here & hope to return to this cottage in the future.

A lovely cottage, we couldn't have asked for more, everything we needed and more. We have had a lovely time exploring the area. The people we have met have all been wonderfully welcoming and friendly. So all in all a great cottage, wonderful welcoming hosts leading to a lovely holiday. You have given us very high standards to judge future holidays by, we will be back!

What can we say? What a beautiful cottage, the best we have ever stayed in and what a bonus to come back to the hot tub after a super day out. We have loved every minute here at Hill Cottage and there is everything you need, it's a great location to be able to explore Pembrokeshire, it's just so central to all the places we wanted to visit. Highly recommend a visit to Bosherston Lily Ponds (National Trust), such a lovely walk that takes you to the secluded Broad Haven South Beach.

Fantastic cottage, beautifully decorated and restored. We loved staying here and had a fantastic time. It's near all of the wonderful places we like to visit such as Dale for crabbing, Broad Haven and Little Haven for the Swan and great waves. Also close to the Druidston for some fantastic food. Our second time at Hill Cottage and it's been just as fabulous as the first. Everything was even better than I remembered. Once again, we've loved Newgale beach  dog friendly and enjoyed the chips and ice-cream from the little shop. We also loved walking round the Stackpole Estate and down the paths to Barafundle Bay. We also walked along the coastal path at St David's seal spotting was great! We've loved it here a real luxury home from home. Thank you for the welcome wine and chocolates! Great house, great seating area in the garden. We ate outside every night and enjoyed making use of the bar, we even had our own cocktail evening ! A lovely relaxed atmosphere. We went on some lovely walks and went to some beautiful beaches close to Hill Cottage. A real home from home. A really beautiful house, made for a perfect holiday.

Hill Cottage is such a lovely house, and so beautifully converted/restored and decorated all down to the very last detail. We've really enjoyed the location, allowing us quick access to St David's in one direction and Bosherston Lily Ponds and Broad Haven South in the other ? Lily Ponds are always worth a visit. Marloes Sands is also spectacular. We'd also highly recommend the boat trips around Ramsey Island ? very exhilarating ! We have had a great holiday, one of the best stays in Pembrokeshire to date ...

We have loved our week at Hill Cottage and were thrilled that it was as gorgeous in real life as the pictures on the website. The house is beautifully decorated and had everything we could have wished for (and more) ! We would be quite happy to live here. It was brilliant to have a huge Tesco's at the bottom of the road and a big playing field at the top of the road where Betty (the dog) made lots of new friends. We had great weather and we loved Newgale beach, best for dog walking and body boarding. Fab location, Fab house, Fab holiday !! We feel so lucky to have found Hill Cottage on the internet and have sent photos to loads of our friends and recommendations, fingers crossed we can come back again as we've had a fab time.

Absolutely gorgeous house ? it has been done up and decorated so well ? perfect ! We want to live here !! The beds are so comfy, the best night's sleep ! Couldn't ask for more, you have everything you could possibly need. Thank you for such an amazing visit. You have gone above and beyond with adding certain things to the house, which have made our visit so much better, e.g. speaker and board games ? kids had fun with the Simpsons jigsaw puzzle ? entertained for ages!
