The ancient parish of Llanstadwell with its pretty Norman Church lies alongside the northern side of the Cleddau River and incorporates the settlement of Hazelbeach. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path takes on quite a different character as it passes through and yet is no less fascinating. There are no serious gradients and views of the bustling Haven Waterway are captivating. The convivial Ferry House Inn lies alongside the shingle and mud shore frequented by swans. Customers enjoy real ales and good pub food whilst watching the comings and goings of the the local boatyard and slipway.
