Guide to the Marloes Peninsula

The stunning Marloes Peninsula is on the west coast of the Pembrokeshire National Park, and the area is renowned for the dramatic and captivating rocky cliffs and surrounding islands. The diverse and captivating landscape is a haven for wildlife, with the mainland and offshore isles providing protection for a range of fascinating creatures. Skomer is a designated Marine Conservation Zone, and it isn't just what is under the water that is of interest; with over 20,000 puffins descending onto the small patch of land in the summer months, the natural wonders are abundant! The neighbouring island, Skokholm, also has a profusion of seabirds. It is estimated that there are over 40,000 pairs of breeding Manx shearwaters, alongside razorbills and guillemots.
