All our reviews are independently handled via Feefo, that means each review is a 100% verified customer visiting The Dairy at East Hook.
Beautifully Clean and had everything that you could think of re kitchen equipment. The House was very well furnished and decorated to a high standard. The pillows were a bit uncomfortable but that is just a personal thing.
The Dairy is lovely. And the views from the sun room were fantastic. Be careful of the slippery stairs!
Wonderful sea views from an enormous sun room, well-equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean, and great underfloor heating and heated towel rail in the bathroom
Beautiful accommodation in an amazing location. Wonderful views over St Brides Bay. Coastal walk at the bottom of the field where you can wander around the peninsula, watch seals, birds and get the cobwebs blown away. Cottage was well equipped and comfortable. Nice to have conservatory area in the day and cosy lounge in the evening.
If you've ever visited a holiday cottage before, you most likely have seen a guestbook in the property for guests to leave a review for others when they arrive. Each of the following comments was lovingly left by people just like you in the guestbook left at The Dairy at East Hook.
Marloes Sands is so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes.. We have had an amazing holiday taking in the wildlife, the geology and of course changeable weather! This location is fabulous & totally unspoilt. We have seen choughs, a peregrine, seals, a brown hairstreak butterfly, young foxes playing and a very human friendly sanderling. The freshwater lakes at Bosherston are incredible too. The Dairy is characterful and bedrooms very comfortable.
We all really enjoyed staying here. Loved the conservatory and views of St Brides Bay watching the ships come & go. Lovely walk on the coast path past Martins Haven onto Deer Park (Wooltack Point) headland. Lots of seals and seal pups in the bays below the headland, not good for vertigo though! Can highly recommend Giannis Ice-Cream shop in St Davids and the Cathedral, Solva lovely and great to go back to Bosherston Lily Ponds & Broad haven Sth Beach, especially cream filled jam & scone at Ye Olde Worlde Cafe in the village. Stack Rocks and the green Bridge of wales arch are well worth a look, no guillemots this time of year or puffins on Skomer. Great weather all week, sunburnt but chilled out.
We had a great holiday - thank you for a lovely place to stay. We can recommend the sailing school at Dale, Musselwick and Marloes beaches, Tregwynt Mill & St Davids. There is a cafe in the Post Office for a cuppa after a dip. We appreciated the hot showers and the conservatory. The views were wonderful and the sound of the sea do relaxing. We had a lovely time and are very sad to leave. But we'll be in touch!
We have had a wonderful week in this cottage. LOVE the views and especially the sunsets in the evening. Great proximity to Marloes Sands which in our opinian in the best beach in the area - tip we learned this week - go through the National Trust car park (if you have followed directions in the green folder) & then take the second right into a big field - go right to the bottom of this field to park & you'll be so much closer to the beach. Enjoyed eating at the Griffin Inn in Dale, great food and good views over the water. Thank you for the watersports shop recommendation - we ended up purchasing second habd wet suits (much better value than hiring).
