Perfect spot, so tranquil. The prettiest of cottage gardens which went down to the rivers edge where you could paddle. Wildlife abundant with newly hatched ducklings, and even a heron visiting. The cottage was equipped with good quality linen and towels etc.,plus thoughtful things such as power points in useable positions, and a glass top to the dressing table for hot brushes or similar. Such things are often overlooked. There was everything you could wish for in a holiday cottage.

Just a short 4-mile drive you'll get to Narberth, a bustling market town with wonderful shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. You can easily while away a day or two in Narberth itself - voted one of the Top 10 High streets in the UK with its boutique shops, galleries, delicatessens, cafes and restaurants. Narberth has many amazing eateries and fabulous boutique shops, including the renowned Golden Sheaf Gallery, and Wisebuys Food Emporium, a must for local Welsh delights. Also Fire and Ice gin store for those looking for a special treat.

Just outside the town centre is Narberth's Castle, first recorded as a Norman Castle in 1116 and with strong links to The Mabinogion. A rectangular castle with towers on each corner but, unfortunately, not much remains today.

The Grove is one of the finest places in Wales for an indulgent special occasion. It is twinned with Coast in Saundersfoot, which is a must-visit with its amazing food, wine selection and sea view, perched on the beach, in uber-chic surroundings. For that special occasion, these places are only a taxi ride away.

Tenby, medieval walled town

The medieval walled town of Tenby with its picturesque harbour is a popular seaside resort. Interesting little shops, galleries, pubs, restaurants, cobbled streets and 5 glorious beaches (Blue Flag) to choose from. Tenby harbour has a thriving boating and fishing community - try your hand on a mackerel fishing trip or take a boat trip over to the holy island of Caldey.

Saundersfoot Village

Pretty, bustling Saundersfoot has 3 lovely beaches, harbour, shops, pubs, galleries, a wonderful old fashioned sweet shop, 'Chobbles', good seafood restaurants, and gifts shops.
Indulge yourself at the St Brides Hotel & Spa, a luxury hotel designed around the spectacular view over Saundersfoot Harbour and Carmarthen Bay.

Pembrokeshire Coastal Path

Pembrokeshire's Coastal Path stretches 186 miles from start to finish. Coastal bus services specially designed for walkers will pick up and drop off all along the route so you can choose to walk sections at a time. Secluded beaches, castle ruins and sleepy fishing villages are a few of the sights you will see. Watch out for puffins and seals who enjoy this coastal habitat.

Pembrokeshire Castles

There are magnificent castles within easy driving distance each well worth a visit - beautiful Carew & Tidal Mill, fascinating Manorbier & pretty sheltered beach, grand Picton with lovely gardens and Llawhaden, once the summer residence of the Bishops of St Davids.

Cwm Deri Vineyard

Hidden away in Martletwy, you'll find Pembrokeshire's only vineyard which is open all year round. The wine estate, first planted in 1991, now houses 3,000 vines and welcomes visitors to sample the produce and take a walk around their 2.5 acres of vineyard. Enjoy a tasting of the wines and liqueurs, on the patio and terrace, with a commanding view over the vineyard and beyond to the National Park. The restaurant offers lunch seven days a week.
