  • Set within peaceful, countryside surroundings this holiday gem is one of four holiday cottages in this magical location. Furnished to a high standard, this is a true home away from home perfectly equipped to make your holiday stress-free and relaxing from the moment you enter the front door.
  • All on one level, and surprisingly very spacious, you have an open plan living area with modern, fitted kitchen, dining area and comfortable sofa to relax on.
  • The double bedroom is very restful and the modern bathroom completes the luxury conversion.
  • There is outdoor seating to the front of the cottage, a great place to soak up the far reaching countryside and sea views – ideal for your morning coffee or pre-dinner drink?
  • Guests have access to the Pembrokeshire Coastal path nearby which can be accessed by through the owners land. The traditional village pub is within easy walking distance for evening meals. Newgale is just a short drive – a stunning beach popular with water sports enthusiasts.

Extremely first class accommodations and facilities. Ideal location for a quiet time away. Spotlessly clean and spacious for two. Electric car charging made it for us as a plus. Definitely will return. Photos show view from patio and a view from about a 10 minute walk away.

Newgale and Pembrokeshire Coastal Path

  • Just under a mile away is the stunning Blue Flag beach of Newgale with almost 2 miles of golden sand.
  • Explore the flower-decked cliffs along the coast footpath in either direction from the beach at nearby Newgale, just a short 2-3 mintues drive away.
  • Kitesurfing and surfing are popular on this beach and tuition is available.
  • Beach facilities - Toilets, lifeguards are on duty between the beginning of June to the end of September.

Druidston Haven and Nolton Haven

  • Just a 10-minute drive away from The Castle is the beautiful unspoilt beach of Druidston Haven - bounded by towering rock faces, home to myriad sea birds and with more than a mile of smooth, golden sands at low tide.
  • Druidston, if you are a walker, is an access point for the Pembrokeshire Coast Path with its 186 miles of fabulous coastal scenery.
  • If you ride you can hire a horse from nearby Nolton Haven Stables and gallop across the sands.

St Davids

  • Investigate the magnificent medieval Cathedral and ruined Bishops' Palace dedicated to Wales's Patron Saint. The Cathedral is a busy church but also an international venue for music throughout the year; a memorable and rewarding place to visit. The Bishop's Palace will captivate your imagination and take you back to glories past.
  • With its independent cafes and local produce, there is plenty to keep you occupied for days of browsing. Don't miss the country market on a Thursday between April and September. In Oriel y Parc, you will find lots of information about the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, useful maps and guidebooks as well as a Class A, National Museum of Wales art gallery and cafe.

Golfing Breaks Pembrokeshire Wales

  • St Davids Golf Course is a spectacular 9-hole course on the headland overlooking Whitesands Beach - a real challenge!
  • Family owned Priskilly Forest Golf Course is a 20-minute drive away. Open all year to visitors of any ability, it is a 9 hole gem, set amongst mature oaks, sycamores and rhododendrons and with panoramic views from Strumble Head to the Preseli Mountains.

Broad Haven

  • The seaside village has everything you need for your holiday: a large, sandy Blue Flag beach, a well-stocked convenience shop, 3 pubs, a restaurant, fish & chip take away as well as a surf shop selling and hiring out water sports gear.

Little Haven

  • A popular holiday village with picturesque setting, sandy beach, cafe and an excellent choice of pubs - The Swan Inn , The Castle and The St. Brides all offering a good choice of freshly prepared food, including local fish & seafood.
  • Lobster & Mor offers quality crafts & local produce, together with delicious crab/lobster sandwiches.
  • Corner House Cafe provides simple, yet awesome cafe fayre', with freshly baked artisan bread, locally sourced produce & delicious desserts, along with wonderful coffee, La Bastilla P3 beans, slowly roasted, just perfect, & delicious Pembrokeshire ice cream.

Boat Trips

  • Local boat trips with Voyages of Discovery may be boarded from Whitesands or nearby St. Justinians. The booking office is in St Davids.
  • Cruise around rugged Ramsey Island to see dolphins, whales and many seabirds, including puffins & shearwaters. Enjoy island expeditions and fishing trips.

Pembrokeshire Coast Path

  • A 186 mile footpath, twisting and turning along the most breathtaking coastline in Britain. It covers almost every kind of maritime landscape from rugged cliff tops and sheltered coves to long stretches of sandy beaches and winding estuaries.
  • St Brides Bay Water Taxi Great for coastal walkers. Leave your car in Solva . You will be taken by water taxi to your chosen destination, then simply walk back along the coast path. Or walk the outward leg and make an appointment to be picked up & taken back by boat. Possible destinations, Little Haven, Porthclais, Porthmynawydd, St. Justinian, Nolton.
