  • The Castle is truly splendid - a unique luxuriant historic castle and for some a perfect holiday destination by itself. It is quite simply breath taking, a luxury abode quite unlike any other.
  • Sitting high above the landscape offering panoramic views over St Brides Bay and the Preseli Hills, the Castle has been sympathetically restored throughout with no expense spared. The smart designer interiors are both contemporary and stylish yet very warm and welcoming.
  • Offering the ultimate in comfort, all six-luxury en suite bedrooms have spectacular views of the coast or countryside.�Deep set windows, timber floors, occasional exposed stone walls, subtle colour schemes, crisp white bed linen, quirky shapes and luxurious bathrooms will delight.
  • The modern and sleek kitchen is equipped with every gadget you will need to prepare tasty meals. If you prefer, delicious breakfasts can be prepared for you throughout your stay, as can those special dinners and family milestone meals.
  • The jewel in the crown is the unique roof top sun room with views over the battlements. On warm evenings throw open the floor to ceiling glass doors, step out and enjoy pre-dinner drinks and breathe in the salt laden air direct from the sea.
  • Cosy evenings can be spent in the Court lounge that provides a stylish space to unwind. For the ultimate in relaxation, however, why not treat yourself to a massage or facial in the treatment room high up in the turrets of the castle. This can be arranged before or during your stay.

6 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 12. All Bedrooms are furnished to the highest standard and fully equipped with aromatherapy toiletries, plush towels and bathrobes, slippers, Sky TV, internet/DAB radios with i pod docking station, a Nespresso coffee maker, kettle, hairdryer, iron and ironing board facilities.

Lucy Walters: Superking bed with ensuite shower room on 3rd floor set within the upper turrets of the castle offering partial coastal views though a convenient hole in the turret wall.

De Rupe: Kingsize bed and ensuite Bathroom  on 3rd floor with coastal views of St Brides Bay. Separate shower and bath.

Nest: Kingsize bed and ensuite Shower room on 2nd floor within the tower with coastal views from a quaint castle window.

Ap Gruffydd: SuperKing bed with ensuite Bathroom (separate Shower and Bath) on 2nd floor with views over St Brides Bay.

St Davids: Superking bed with ensuite Bathroom (separate Shower and Bath) on lower floor with coastal and country views.

St Brides: Kingsize bed with ensuite Shower room on lower floor with coastal and countryside views.

Dining Room seating up to 12 comfortably.
Kitchen sleek, modern units. Very well equipped with 2 electric ovens, electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer.

3rd Floor:
Living Room
(also known as the Court Room) with 3 x 3 seater sofas, 2 x 2 seater sofas, 2 x occasional chairs, footstools, Smart TV with Blu-Ray player and Sky package, Internet, DAB Radio with i pod docking station.
Snug Areas 2 smaller areas of main living room with occasional chairs, books and views.
Sun Room fantastic sea views offered, access to balcony, table to seat 8 and occasional chairs, fridge and sink, honesty bar.

4th Floor:

Study with desk and occasional chair. Good selection of interesting books.

Refundable Security Deposit Due to the high quality furnishings and value of some of the items at the property, a refundable security deposit of £1000 is required per booking.

NB: As the property enjoys an elevated position, the property is not suitable for those with limited mobility.

About the Area

Newgale and Pembrokeshire Coastal Path

  • Explore the flower-decked cliffs along the coast footpath in either direction from the beach at nearby Newgale.
  • Newgale is a stunning beach with almost 2 miles of sand, backed by a huge pebble bank, particularly popular with water sports enthusiasts.

Druidston Haven and Nolton Haven

  • Just a 10-minute drive away from The Castle is the beautiful unspoilt beach of Druidston Haven - bounded by towering rock faces, home to myriad sea birds and with more than a mile of smooth, golden sands at low tide.
  • Druidston, if you are a walker, is an access point for the Pembrokeshire Coast Path with its 186 miles of fabulous coastal scenery.
  • If you ride you can hire a horse from nearby Nolton Haven Stables and gallop across the sands.

 St Davids 

  • Investigate the magnificent medieval Cathedral and ruined Bishops' Palace dedicated to Wales's Patron Saint. The Cathedral is a busy church but also an international venue for music throughout the year; a memorable and rewarding place to visit. The Bishop's Palace will captivate your imagination and take you back to glories past.
  • With its independent cafés and local produce, there is plenty to keep you occupied for days of browsing. Don't miss the country market on a Thursday between April and September. In Oriel y Parc, you will find lots of information about the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, useful maps and guidebooks as well as a Class A, National Museum of Wales art gallery and café.

  • No fewer than 6 excellent galleries are located in St Davids, Britain's tiniest city - Oriel y Felin, Oriel y Park Visitors Centre has the Landscape Gallery in which hangs a permanent exhibition of work by Graham Sutherland as well as an artist in residence, St Davids Studio Gallery, Goat Street Gallery, The Cloisters Gallery in St Davids Cathedral, Steve Robinson's Glass Studio and Cheese and Pickles Design Studio & Gallery.
