Sarah Bosworth - 1st October 2018

Lovely, quiet rural location, in the perfect place for either a quick visit to the nearby beaches or access to main roads for road trips a bit further afield. No light pollution meant incredible starry skies when the clouds cleared! Comfortable bed, fantastic shower, more or less everything we needed, and a great enclosed garden for our dog. Felt immediately re-energised on arrival and loved the stay at the cottage.

Julia Russell - 25th September 2018

Trefrane Lodge is a little tired and the kitchen in particular is in need of some updating. The fridge and freezer doors don't shut properly unless you really push them, and the equipment needs attention. e.g. no bread knife, large chopping knife broken, no decent trying pan, fish slice or tongs, cooking dishes in very short supply. Also, no dish cloth supplied or cloth to wipe up or clean in the bathroom. For the rental cost we didn't expect to have to supply our own. No clothes airer or washing line either. The Wi-Fi was very poor. I imaging the router is in Trefrane House next door, but there was only about 4 sq metres in the living area where the wi-fi actually worked and even then, intermittently. We paid a good rate for this cottage, and expected better attention to detail for the money. However, the beds were comfortable, everything else we needed was there and the weather, for once, was perfect.

Thank you for your detailed feedback, we are sorry that there were missing items in the kitchen and the wifi was patchy. The owner has had a copy of your feedback to act upon. We are glad that you were able to have a nice stay

A very comfortable and well furnished holiday property providing everything we needed for a very happy holiday. Just a 10 minute walk to the Pembrokeshire cost path or a two minute drive to the beach car park.

Andrew Misselbrook - 1st February 2018

A lovely house, ideal if you want somewhere quiet. It is lovely and clean and warm once the heating is on. We had no neighbours for most of the time when we were there which was even better. My dog loved the place, he used to sit outside in the morning just as he does at home, and the walk up the lane to Maidenhall car park was perfect for him. Any issues we had on arrival were dealt with straight away.
