Spotless, comfortable and beautifully located. Garden welcomed by both human and furry residents. Beautiful decor - very relaxing. And, of course, that view...... well, what can I say? Sorry, i’m Useless at taking photos, but there were definitely lots of smiles.

Wyndhurst has been finished to a high standard, and is very comfortable and homely and very peaceful. The views from the garden are amazing! There are nice touches like a dog toy box full of goodies for your 4 legged friends and a surprise welcome box of goodies for us. There is a camping field directly behind the cottage which was not a problem for us, but in the height of summer might be a bit noisy.

Thank you for your 5 star review, delighted that you enjoyed your stay at Wyndhurst.

Because it is perfect in every way.

From the guests:- Wyndhurst was spotlessly clean. Good quality beds towels and furnishing. Everything was there that you needed in the kitchen. We never eat out, as we loved and enjoyed Wyndhurst so much.. With one of the best views of Newgale beach, and a garden to enjoy it in ,why would you want to be anywhere else. Having spent 20 years plus in various cottages around the Newgale area,we have found our piece of heaven.Long may it be a holiday home. Thankyou to Judith and family for sharing it with us.

Yvonne Smith - 29th November 2018

We loved the views at wyndhurst and we are sure the property will be beautiful when it’s completely refurbished. Good welcome pack. At present the bedrooms are decorated nicely and have good bedding and quality mattresses BUT we had issues with the different floor levels and the “trip factor” in the property which should have been warned about in the description. Also the gap between the chest of drawers and the bed in the master bedroom is very tight and caused a lot of bruises! The bathrooms are very tired, showers had mastik/mould issues and the lighting was very bad. A parcel delivery attempt was made for the owner while we were out, I rang the “housekeeper” about collecting it and she said she was just the cleaner and to leave the delivery note for the owner. We just thought it was odd to have any deliveries at all when the property is let! These are just a few items which would be helpful to add to the property: A bath mat in en suite (we used one from the wet room), tea tray, baking/pizza trays, kitchen or lounge clock!

From the owner:Bathrooms - will raise the comment about mould for the cleaning team to inspect. It was not evident to me when I stayed last week so hopefully was an isolated and unfortunate blip Clock; trays etc - all these things are available in the kitchen so I’m sorry the guests did not find them. I will add another clock in the lounge. Missed delivery - this was an additional dustbin for larger groups. Delivery had been requested for a timeframe when guests were not there, but unfortunately arrived early. I was not aware of this issue and sorry that the guests felt inconvenienced by it.

From the owner:The standard of comfort and cleanliness are my top priority .... property has been completely redecorated inside and out and equipped with high quality furniture and linens from brands such as Feather and Black and John Lewis. I am looking forward to making further enhancements once planning permission is granted, including a large family bathroom with tub and even more expansive glazing to take in those glorious views. Thank the guest for their detailed suggestions etc .... sorry felt inconvenienced by the the missed delivery note ...

Thank you for your comments. We agree that the property is nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable with quality bedding. As I mentioned our main issue was that the floor levels should be mentioned in the description, there are interior steps but there is also an uneven entrance to the lounge which had the trip factor. We realise that many of our issues will be rectified when the owners planning permission goes through and I’m sure the house will be beautiful when it’s finished but for now we feel that the bathrooms don’t match the rest of the property and find the lighting poor. However we really did enjoy our stay, even in the rain!
