The slope up to the cottage by the garage is quite steep and would not be suitable for anyone with any physical disability. The cottage itself is a little tired and requires some attention. Peeling and chipped wallpaper, sealants around the windows were grubby and cracked. There were cobwebs in the kitchen and dust on top of the cooker hood and microwave. Also could do with additional kitchen utensils and benefit greatly from blinds in the bedrooms for privacy. On arriving we were disappointed to find that there was no welcome pack as per the other cottages we have been to in the past, ie bread, milk & jam. Just the basics. My husband had to go in search of milk so that we could have a cup of tea after our long journey. When he got back and we started to cook dinner, the power went off. He rang the owner only to be told that this was a regular occurrence...great! Our food was ruined as the power was only switched back on almost 2 hours later. In that time we had to light the woodburner due to the cottage being so cold. This happened at the same time the following evening and again our dinner was ruined. The following evening we ate much earlier expecting the same but thank heavens the power stayed on for the rest of the week. One plus is the large garden which was ideal for our dog and the area itself is beautiful and so unspoilt. We will definitely return to Pembrokeshire but unfortunately not to this cottage

The information provided enabled us to find it very easily, nice location. On reflection I was a little concerned that the property could only be entered /exited through the kitchen, if there was a fire getting out may be difficult. I found the hob a little dated and under par. Having my mother with us going up the slope was good(no steps) but could have been made easier with a hand rail. The garden was private, however having a small breed dog she was able to exit the garden onto the road via the gap under the five bar gates, this could be rectified using some netting. All things considered we thought it was well located .

Thank you for your comments which have been forwarded to the owner, we will discuss the introduction of a hand rail and some improved fencing with them. Glad that you enjoyed your stay.

Great location. Friendly owners at riding school opposite. Just two minor points of feedback, needs a drying/clothes horse & some more cutlery specifically knives. We had a lovely stay.

The cottage needed some tlc. The shower room was tiny and claustrophobic. The bed collapsed on the first night as the mattress didn't fit the frame correctly. The furniture was extremely old. The standard was nowhere near the other cottage we stayed in last year owned by the same people.
