Plus points were lovely big enclosed garden with outdoor furniture, comfy (non leather!) settes and beds, well provisioned kitchen. Parking on road but this didn't cause a problem. 20 mins walk downhill to beach/pub, took slightly longer on way up but good exercise. Negative points freezer not working, recycling bins not empty on arrival (smelly in warm weather!), hot water tap VERY hot and flow from cold water tap in kitchen poor.

We had a lovely holiday in this well presented, cosy, cottage. Everything appeared clean. We enjoyed the large garden and the ability to walk to the nearby beaches of Druidston & Nolton with the dogs, with Newgale nearby. The photo is bit misleading for parking as neither drives are practical, but there is adequate parking for two cars on what is a open, sighted, bend, on this quiet country road.We did have a couple of failures of the heating, but these were quickly fixed by the owner, who is local, and the place was never cold.

Terrible WiFi, bin pedestal broken, light not working in bathroom, no washing machine/ dryer instructions.

thank you for taking the time to leave this review, I have passed your comments over to the owner. With regards to the Wifi, due to this property being in a coastal location the wifi wont be as fast as it is in a more built up area.

Nolton Haven

  • Enjoy a drink or a bar snack at the Mariner's Inn above the cove where a small stream flows out over the beach - good for bathing, sun seekers and sand castle builders. There is a small slipway here, rock pools to explore and fossils to hunt for.
  • Above the beach is a small 150 year old Grade ll listed Chapel - perhaps the most westerly place of worship in the UK - and a warm welcome awaits visitors to the Sunday services.
