Excellent location and well laid out cottage with nice garden, but could be improved. Cleanliness and attention to detail could be better : shower outlet almost completely blocked with hair and soap scum, toilet brush needed replacing, window in bathroom -catch broken and would not close properly, number of light bulbs needed replacing (I replaced two- bedside lights, but that was enough- spare spotlight bulbs in kitchen but they are not always easy to replace without tools to remove cir-clips etc), washing up bowl would be useful, as would cutlery drainer. Broom but no dustpan and brush. No place mats-needed to protect furniture. End of season and some places could do with a good spring clean . All small things but cumulatively tarnish the experience.

Very tired property. No welcome pack or essentials like liquid soap just one toilet roll or kitchen roll which would be appreciated.Could not get Wi Fi.,or use tumble drier as door wouldn't open. Shower would not soak away so checked filter which was clogged with hair not pleasant. Overall not the best holiday experience.

Comfortable and clean. However, there was no outside tap to clean the dog after a muddy walk, no hand cleaner which we would have thought would have been a standard Health and Safety item, and there was no where to hang wet shower towels. WiFi was non existent.

Attractive private grounds and general setting; Bottle of wine on arrival a nice touch; plentiful hot water and good heating; however, the cottage is in need of a good deep clean and some general maintenance and unfortunately we felt that this let it down.

The cottage itself is in a lovely location with a fabulous garden which our two dogs absolutely loved. Sadly, although the cottage is a nice building it is really tired looking both inside and out. It really needs a complete re decorating with new furnishings. There was an awful strong oil smell in the bathroom so we had to keep the door closed all the time. The bed was really uncomfortable and other pieces of furniture looked worn. Also, the cottage could have done with a really good clean.
