Thank you for your 5-star review, we're glad to hear you had a lovely time. Hopefully, see you again in the future!
Excellent location and well equipped house. This could easily have been 5 stars however, the main fridge in the kitchen was not working, there were light bulbs out in bathroom, bedroom and outside, more outside lights would also be better, cleanliness was poor, cobwebs everywhere, dust heavy on doors and surfaces, plaster broken away on top landing.Neighbours parked in reserved parking spot, neighbours also up and about early morning 5am, which we appreciate they are permanent residents and it is their job, but it did disturb sleep for most of us, especially as dogs were out barking. We would book again as ideal for our large family. Owner did call us to talk about lights out in bathroom and plaster and apologies, however he was not aware there was a problem with fridge.

Hi, and thank you for your feedback. We're sorry you felt the need to leave a 3-star review for the property. We were made aware by the owner of some of the issues like the main fridge not getting to temperature, and the plaster which had broken away due to damage by the previous guests. These were difficult to rectify at the time because of the bank holiday which is why the owners offered you a £150 goodwill gesture which was accepted by yourselves. When Ben, the caretaker, welcomed you to the property he offered any help over the bank holiday weekend but was left with the impression that all was fine, so the owners are sorry that this wasn't actually felt to be the case. The property has never until now received anything less than a 5-star review, and we have been informed a new fridge/freezer has been delivered, to complement the large fridge in the utility and the wall and lighting in the bathroom both addressed as soon as there was a gap in the calendar. The owners wish to express their disappointment that your stay was impacted, and would extend their wishes that should you stay again in the future, they'd do their very best to address anything during your stay so that you can be assured of a comfortable and relaxing getaway, but would not expect these instances to occur again.
Such a beautiful cottage, the location is as good as it gets with views of Porthgain harbour . The cottage itself is of such w high standard and well equipped - the owners have thought of everything. Hot tub beautiful plus

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs both east and west from Porthgain. The dramatic coastal scenery, flower and wildlife are what make Pembrokeshire one of the world's best holiday destinations (National Geographic voted Pembrokeshire the 2nd best coastal destination in the world) splendid at all times of year, but the explosion of colour with the spring flowers is something to behold!
Treath Llyfyn Beach near Porthgain holiday cottage
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path to the west brings you to Traeth Llyfyn beach - a wide expanse of sand great for family beach days, picnics and games of rounders (with a long staircase down to the sand).
Abereiddi and the Blue Lagoon
Neighbouring Abereiddi, has pretty colour washed former miners cottages, black sandy beach where dogs are welcome all year round and the remarkable Blue Lagoon. Popular with families, the sand which is visible at low tide, also contains a high concentration of fossils and is a draw for fossil hunters.
St Davids City and St Davids Peninsula Pembrokeshire
St Davids is Britain's smallest city. It's lovely medieval cathedral and ancient Bishops' Palace form the historic centre but it also boasts a number of modern amenities - banks, post office, supermarket, filling station, chemist, doctor and vet - as well as a good range of interesting shops.
Boat Trips to Ramsey Island
Book a boat trip to Ramsey Island and experience the thrill of a jet boat trip across Ramsey Sound, through the infamous Bitches, and then the contrast of moving in close to the cliffs to see the wildlife at close range. For the less adventurous there are conventional boats which both circuit and land on the island.
Whitesands Beach

The wide sandy beach has a Blue Flag award and lifeguard cover in the summer make it popular for swimming, surfing and water sports of all sorts with surf hire and surfing lessons available at the beach. The beach is a lovely place to walk and between October and the end of April your dog can come too. When you have had fun on the beach visit the Whitesands Cafe for tasty snacks and refreshments.
