The cottage was very comfortable and extremely well-equipped. The owners have made it a home from home with lots of places to sit and relax and plenty of storage space. The only thing I would say is that, if there were eight-ten of you, you might need more seating in the lounge as there was only a two-seater and a three seater settee (although there are two sofas in the sun room, so perhaps these are moved around for a large party). There is a dining area in the lounge and also one in the sun room, so again these could be joined together for a large group. The main bedroom downstairs also means that the house is not too big for just one couple. The location was amazing with gorgeous views and beautiful sunsets. The beach was on our doorstep and the garden well enclosed for the dog (with no sheep to tempt him nearby). Dog owners just remember that dogs are not allowed on the beach between May and September, although you are literally on the coast path for walks, with other dog-friendly beaches nearby. In October it was fabulous for our dog. The en-suites weren’t necessarily the most modern, but everything was clean and the two bathtubs downstairs were huge. The owner was lovely. We spoke to her at the beginning and end of our stay and could have contacted her at any point from the phone provided, should we have needed to speak to her. The phone also took incoming calls and permitted coin-operated calls to elsewhere (we had no phone signal). We had a simply fabulous week and hope to return. No wonder people go back again and again.

The position overlooking Whitesands Bay is perfect, and the cottage is comfortable and feels like home.

As we gaze across the sea we think what a beautiful place to be. Sunshine, wind, sea and sand. A better place could not be planned. The children laughed and had such fun, happy days and lots of sun. Evenings full of food and wine. We've really had a lovely time. I'm sure we'll all be back one day. Thank you for having us is all to say.

Another wonderful visit. Mixed weather but the view never fails to enthral us. From our warm and comfortable spot above the waves we have watched cormorants, a seal and a pair of peregrine falcons. Coastal walks, beach walks and lunch outside in the sun!
