Nice cottage in a very convenient location

Jonathan Ramsden - 12th August 2018

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wren’s Nest. The bungalow was in an excellent location adjacent to the footpath leading to the cliff walks and only a five minute walk to the shops, restaurants, and pubs of St David’s. The Close was very peaceful. The facilities were just as described and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The welsh cakes left by the owner were very welcome and a nice gesture! Everything was clean and well maintained. The conservatory was our favourite place to sit and relax after some energetic coastal walks. The garage had been converted into a storeroom which was ideal for our golf equipment, and useful for drying boots and waterproofs on the couple of showery days. We tried various pubs, and restaurants in the centre and found them all to be satisfactory, just check the reviews to ascertain the style of dining required. Our favourite was Cwtch. If we return to the area we would be happy to stay at Wren’s Nest again!

A wonderful weekend in a comfortable bungalow which was ideal for our short break. Close to good walks for the dog and not too far from Whitesands Beach - her favourite place! Even the weather was kind to us - which enabled us to really enjoy the conservatory. Utility room was ideal for the dog.

We've enjoyed our stay in the bungalow. Its been a quiet, peaceful time. The flowers on the cliff paths have been lovely and we've enjoyed seeing goldfinches at the birdbath in the evenings.

Great to be back at Wren's Nest! Always something new to see in the area - this time the remains of an 1833 shipwreck uncovered at Whitesands in last winter's storms. Gardens at Picton Castle looking better than ever.

What can I say? Another great holiday at Wren's Nest - many thanks Janet. Walked the coast - enjoyed Dinas Head and the food at the local pub is well recommended. Used the coastal buses again - efficient and much better than the car.Went to the music festival at the Cathedral (3 evenings) - well worth it . Can't wait to come back. Thank you.
