Great house - well equipped, clean. Good for local walks and easy drive to so many places including St David's, Solva and the beaches at Whitesands and Newgale. Friendly pub and cafe in the village and excellent seafood at The Shed in Portgain. Highlight was the view of the sea and coast from my bedroom window!
Dedwyddfa was perfect for a family get together. The newly added summerhouse was fantastic for gatherings and the heating in there brilliant for cooler nights. The cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed. Ron the owner was very helpful he contacted me before I went to the cottage to give me helpful information about the property and contacted me once we had arrived to check everything was ok. A perfect cottage, the summerhouse and sea views from the garden give it a real wow factor, we have already booked in for the same time again next year.

Thank you for your 4 star review.
Cottage was perfect, spotlessly clean and far exceeded our expectations. If we could pick it up and put it in another village for our next holiday we would.
If you've ever visited a holiday cottage before, you most likely have seen a guestbook in the property for guests to leave a review for others when they arrive. Each of the following comments was lovingly left by people just like you in the guestbook left at Dedwyddfa.
Fabulous cottage, a home from home. We really got lucky with the weather, lovely coastal walks, days on the beach with the dog on Broadhaven and Newgale. Excellent food in Porthgain, The Sloop and The Shed and also steak night at the Square and Compass
Here with the family to celebrate a special birthday. The cottage was lovely and cosy. Weather was perfect and allowed us to appreciate the beautiful summer house and walks on the coast. Thank you for the warm accommodation and wonderful memories we made.
Great cottage, we have had a fantastic week. Many thanks, really enjoyed the summer house.
Fabulous cottage, a lovely family home and refurbished, decorated and supplied as such! We especially enjoyed the summer house with the lovely sea view.

Trefin and Aberfelin
This lovely cottage is in the village of Trefin - a sleepy backwater and perfect for a restful holiday break. Walk from the house to the pub, the Ship Inn, which welcomes families and serves meals of freshly caught and locally sourced produce.
A short walk down the lane from the village brings you to the little shingle and sand cove of Aberfelin where the ruins of Melin Trefin are tucked in above the beach.
The Coastal Path
The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path (now part of the All Wales Path) runs for 168 miles from St Dogmaels in the north to Amroth in the south. Join the path at Aberfelin, the walk to the south is lovely and it is about 2.5 miles round the bay to the village of Porthgain.
To the north it runs towards Abercastle and Strumble Head. The cliffs are dramatic and the scenery captivating at all times of year - but in the spring the flowers and birds put on a truly spectacular performance! Strumble Head in the distance is dramatic and moody, changing the atmosphere as the light and clouds pass.
