Pembrokeshire Coastal Path & Beaches

  • The Coastal Path can be joined at Aberfelin - splendid coastal scenery in both directions - east to the small harbour of Abercastle and westwards to Porthgain, once home to a thriving quarry industry, with the famous Sloop Inn and award winning 'Shed' Bistro. The St Davids Peninsula has over a dozen beaches to explore.

Pembrokeshire coastal cottage convenient for Oriel y Felin now at Cross Square, St Davids

Aberfelin Cove near Pembrokeshire coastal cottage

  • (6 mins walk) A pretty shingle cove with rock pools overlooked by the remains of Melin Trefin Mill - the inspiration for the famous poem by the Welsh Archdruid Crwys.

Strumble Shuttle Coastal Bus Service

  • The popular Strumble Shuttle Coastal Bus Service from Newport to St Davids stops in Trefin 3 times a day between May & September and twice daily on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays from September to May - so give the car a holiday too whilst enjoying staying in this Pembrokeshire house for holidays in Trefin.

Priskilly Forest Family Friendly Golf Club, Y Cabin Bar & Dining Room

  • Solva is a picturesque village and quay alongside a fiord like estuary with a handful of interesting shops, a gallery, a pottery and a choice of places to eat and drink. Solva Woollen Mill is located just outside the village and was visited by Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall. Do take a walk out to the headland to enjoy the spectacular coastal scenery.
