Traditional Pembrokeshire stone cottage in the coastal village of Trefin

  • In an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park this traditional Pembrokeshire stone cottage is set down a quiet lane at the edge of the small coastal village of Trefin.
  • Once home to a sea captain, the characterful cottage is the end one in a row of 3 and has been furnished throughout with loving care and great attention to detail with lots of paintings and artwork.
  • The cosy sitting room has an open fire and the bedrooms are a delight with lovely bed linen and a super kingsize bed in the master bedroom - glimpses of the sea and coast from the main bedrooms, kitchen and garden.
  • There is a separate garden room/summer house with chairs and coffee table overlooking the pretty cottage garden and patio - a lovely place to relax in, get away from it all and simply while away the time!

Excellent attention to detail with obvious consideration given to their visitors needs. The cottage is cosy, comfortable and very well equipped. It is beautifully furnished and styled throughout with sea views from some rooms. It was well cleaned and welcoming. All the equipment was easy to use. No complaints at all.

Swn y Mor was a perfect holiday cottage. It was extremely well equipped, spacious and very comfortable. We loved the conservatory, particularly with the lovely sunny evenings we were lucky to have. Possibly the best holiday cottage weve stayed in. We are already planning a return visit!

Trefin & Aberfelin Cove

  • A short walk away is the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and Aber Felin, a small, shingle and sandy cove with rock pools overlooked by the ruins of historic Melin Trefin Mill - the subject of the poem 'Melin Trefin' by Arch Druid Crwys one of the most famous poems in the Welsh language.

Pembrokeshire Coastal Path

  • This is a wonderful base from which to explore the Coastal Path - west to Porthgain, the Blue Lagoon and Abereiddi and east to Abercastle, Abermawr and Pwllderi.
