What a fabulous cottage! So comfortable and warm and beautiful views from the kitchen and bedroom. Quill particularly liked the underfloor heating.

Had a great stay for a short break and really enjoyed this very comfortable cottage. Fantastic coastal park walking with amazing scenery. Enjoyed body boarding on Whitesands beach - totally exhilarating!

A perfect location for exploring the coastal paths and beaches. Unbelievable cottage that feels warm and cosy after a day out.

Ben Stirling - 19th November 2018

It might have been 5 stars BUT THE LEVEL OF CLEANING WAS POOR. wE SUFFERED LOTS AND LOTS OF COBWEBS AROUND THE PROPERTY ALL WEEK AND THE ASSOCIATED SPIDERS OF COURSE. BUT HEY WHOEVER CLEANS DOES NOT CLEAN IN SCORNERS OR BEHIND ITEMS OR BEHIND BEDS OR SETTEES ETC. For such a well appointed cottage this cleaing issue was UNACCEPTABLE!!. We left a note in the Guests book but have heard nothing - maybe they don't care? .

Stewart Hall - 25th September 2018

Modern and well equipped. Cosy and lovely view

D Giblin - 13th August 2018

Stunning cottage all you could want everything was provided and all in a high quality

R Smith - 17th July 2018

Comfortable cottage had everything you needed. Could have done with a grass cut on larger garden if you really need picky feedback as the lovely view is only appreciated from the back of the garden by the fence and long damp grass is not pleasant to walk over which was a shame some evenings.

Kirsteen Stratton - 19th June 2018

The cottage was well maintained cosy and warm throughout however cleanliness was not 100% breadcrumbs in the breadbin, garlic in the garlic press and garlic leaves in the baskets, things chucked untidily into the wardrobe in the bedroom, haphazard the garden was a mess where work was taking place but had not been cleared away and the patio could have been swept NOT 5* in cleaning inside and out - could have been much better. The guest experience was non existant, no information or guest guide, 1 DVD of the Karate Kid??!! No tourist information and had we used and finished our wood for the burner where would they advise we get more?? No welcome basket - for a 5* advertised property I would say that the guest experience was essential, particularly as we also own 5* holiday properties. Hadn't expected it to be on a busy main road when described as in a hamlet location with an outside street light that stayed on all night. The Square & Compass pub was good for quick and easy food - no hassle and very friendly. The Shed for fish & chips at Porthgain excellent. Good stay but not 5* and a hot tub would be a great addition

Thank you for your detailed review, apologies that the property was not as clean as expected. Your comments have been forwarded to the owner. Our website description does mention that the property is set beside the St Davids to Fishguard road but maybe this needs to be clearer. Temple Cottage is a beautiful property within its own grounds.
